National Highway 169 (NH 169) is a National Highway in India. [1] The national highway number 169 was previously part of old National highway 13 connecting Mangaluru ( Mangalore ) in the state of Karnataka with Solapur in the state of Maharashtra. [2] After rationalisation of highway numbers by Government of India published on 5 March 2010. This number has been assigned to national highway starting from Mangalooru to Shivamogga (Shimoga) going via Gurupura, Kaikamba, Yedapadavu, Moodabidri, Karkala, Bajagoli (Bajegoli), SK border, Kerekatte, Sringeri, Koppa and Thirthahalli. This road provides connectivity between Karavali (Coastal) region through Malenadu region of Karnataka state in India. This road is narrow at some stretches when passing through Kudremukha National Park forest area. The National Highway 169A joins this highway at Thirthahalli. [3]

According to the system all north–south oriented highway will have even numbers increasing from the east to the west. Similarly all east–west oriented highways will be odd numbered increasing from the north to the south of the country.

National Highway 67 is a major National Highway in India. It starts at Ramnagar on NH 748, Belagavi - Panjim Road of Karnataka and ends at Krishnapatnam Port road in Andhra Pradesh.

Kundadri is a hill with dense forests in the Western Ghats located in Shimoga District Karnataka State, India.It is 70 km from Udupi city. This hill is known for 17th century Jain temple dedicated to Parshwanath tirthankara and the place is known to have given shelter to Acharya Kundakunda during earlier centuries. The main deity of this temple is Parshwanatha, 23rd tirthankar. Two small ponds formed by the rock on one side of this temple provided water to earlier sages. Government of Karnataka joined hands with a philanthropist from Mumbai to construct an all-weather road to the top of the hill.

National Highway 173, is a national highway in India. It originates in Mudigere, Karnataka, travels through Vastare, Chikkamagaluru, Sakrepatna, Kadur, Hosadurga terminating in Chitradurga. Road widening project has been kept in abeyance after just renumbering existing state highway to national highway by NHAI.

National Highway 52, Sangrur, Punjab to Ankola, Karnataka, is a National Highway in India. The national highway 52 was numbered after amalgamating many existing national highways of India. The old highway numbered NH-63 was from Ankola in Karnataka state to Gooty in Andhra pradesh state. The highway 52 starts at the junction of National Highway 66 at Ankola and moves up to Arebail ghat of Western ghats and then to Yellapura and further to Hubballi (Hubli) city. Some stretch of old national highway 13 from Vijayapura to Solapur was joined with NH-52. Lorries coming Hubballi city to Karwar sea port and New Mangalore sea port (NMPT) use this highway.The road stretch from Ankola to Yellapura is through forests of Western ghats of India.

National Highway 69, , is a 732 km (455 mi) long major National Highway in India, that runs through the states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The western terminal is at the junction of NH 66 near Honnavar, connects NH 48 near Sira, connects NH 44 near Chikkaballapur, connects NH 75 near Mulbagal and terminates at the east end Renigunta. Its old name was NH 234.
