National Highway 527D (NH 527D) is a National Highway in India.
National Highway 527D was previously known as NH-28A. NH527D is the part of NH27 which is the Second Largest National Highway in India after NH44.
NH527D Connects Nepal to Major Indian Sea Ports as Kolkata & Haldiya Port for import & export of various good to/from Various Countries.
It Starts from Piprakothi (East Champaran, Bihar and Ends at India-Nepal Boarder at Raxaul Town. It passess through Motihari (District Head Quarter of East Champaran), Sugauli, Ramgarhwa and ends at India-Nepal Boarder connecting Indian City of Raxaul to Nepal's Bordering Town Birgunj.
It Intersects State Highway 54 at Chhatauni Chowk, Motihari. It's a Two Lane Highway between Piprakothi to Raxaul having large crowd of Vehicles struggling at intersections in cities.
The highway 527D Connects to its its junction with NH-27 near where NH227 Also Connects to Chakia connecting Narhar, Pakri Bridge, Madhuban, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Harlakhi, Umgaon, Jaynagar, Laukaha, Laukahi.
Chakia is the Town where NH227A coming from Ayodhya via Siwan connects to NH27, NH527D & NH227F.
NH227F starts from its junction with NH- 227 near Chakia (Chorma chowk) connecting Pakridayal, Dhaka, Phulwaria Ghat and terminating at Bairgania in the State of Bihar near Indo / Nepal Border. [1]

Bapudham Motihari Railway Station is a major railway station in Motihari through which 2 lines pass one towards Muzaffarpur and other towards Sitamarhi via Sheohar, it lies in the headquarter city of East Champaran district of Bihar. Its station code is BMKI. The station mainly consists of four platforms and acts as the main station in the city of Motihari, which is being developed under 'The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme' and to celebrate 150 years of Mahatama Gandhi. In February 2022, the Indian Railways had planned to set up a railway station Development Corporation (RSDC) that would work on improving the major railway stations, including Bapudham Motihari, by building and improving passenger amenities.[4] Under the development scheme, major development works are going on Bapudham Motihari. Separate air conditioned waiting lounge, free WiFi facility, IRCTC food court and many facilities are going to be available on Bapudham Motihari at the end of 2024. To enhance the security of this station, a metal detector and baggage handling system will be installed soon.

Ramgarhwa is a village in East Champaran district of Bihar state, India. Ramgarhwa is a town in Motihari district in the state of Bihar, India. It is situated 15 KM before indo-Nepal border on National Highway 28A or AH42. It is directly connected to Kathmandu, the Capitol of Nepal. The town is 40 km from the district HQ Motihari and falls under the Raxaul sub division. It is well connected by railway and direct trains are available for Delhi and Kolkata from Ramgarhwa railway station. This region is quite under developed but making progress swiftly in every domain such as infrastructure, education and medical facilities. Market is expanding with rapid rate and quality of life is showing an upward trend. Ramgarhwa is a panchayat and a mukhiya is elected every 5 years to take care the civic needs of the town. It also has Police station and a Post Office. For education there are so many government and private schools are there but it has only one CBSE affiliated school that is Creation Gurukool which is up to +2 level. After that students has to move out from ramgarhwa to near by cities for their graduation degree. Flood severely affects the surrounding of the town every year but the main town generally is safe from the flood waters as the national highway and railway line acts as embankment which prevent flood water to enter in the main town. Generally the climate is on the hotter side and rainfall is severe during monsoon season. Majority of the people follow Hinduism here and the town also has a significant amount of Muslims too. A very low percentage of Christians are also present in Ramagarhwa. Tilawe river flows through the east side of the town and many small temples are situated at the banks of that river. Also Chhath Puja which is the most important festival of Bihar has been celebrated at the banks of Tilawe river with wide scale celebration.
Shrikhandi Bhittha or Bhitthamore is an Indian village in the Mithila region of Bihar, situated near the Indo-Nepal border, on the banks of the perennial Ratnawati (Raato) river.
Gorakhpur–Siliguri Expressway is an approved 519 km (322 mi) long, four-lane access-controlled greenfield expressway, which will connect the city of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh with the city of Siliguri in West Bengal, India. It will run almost parallel to the India–Nepal border, and will pass through three states–Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. The expressway is a part of Bharatmala Pariyojana, and it will reduce both travel time and distance, from 14-15 hours only 8-9 hours, and from 640 km (400 mi) to 519 km (322 mi). As it will pass through close to the India–Nepal border, the project is of strategic importance for the country, as it will also benefit Nepal. It will be built at a cost of ₹ 32,000 crore, and will be completed by 2025, which was earlier scheduled at 2028/29. In the future, it will be extended to the capital of Assam and the largest city of Northeast India, Guwahati.
The Haldia–Raxaul Expressway is a 650 km planned and upcoming green field access controlled expressway in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar. It will connect Raxaul with Haldia port.
