National Highway 161, (may be referred to as NH 161), is a National Highway in India running through the states of Maharashtra and Telangana of India. [1] [2] The National Highway 161 joins the cities of Akola, Washim, Hingoli, Nanded, Degloor, Bichkunda, Pitlam, Nizampet, Shankarampet(A), Jogipet, Sanga Reddy and Hyderabad in Central-Southern India with each other. [3]

Naigaon is a town and taluka in Nanded district of Maharashtra state in India. National Highway 161A, commonly as NH 161A, is a National Highway running through states of Karnataka and Maharashtra, with a total length 507 Kilometres that connects Akot, Maharashtra to Bidar, Karnataka. National Highway 161A joins the cities of Akot, Akola, Barshitakli, Mangrulpir, Manora, Digras, Arni, Mahur, Kinwat, Himayatnagar, Mudkhed, Waghala, Mukhed, Maharashtra–Karnataka border in central southern India with each other. It is an auxiliary route of National Highway 61.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Vijayawada–Hyderabad Expressway</span> Indian expressway

Vijayawada–Hyderabad Expressway is a 247 km long, 4/6 lane wide tolled expressway that connects Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh with Hyderabad in Telangana. It was opened for public in October 2012. The project was undertaken by concessionaire GMR Hyderabad Vijayawada Expressways Private Limited, a subsidiary of GMR Group on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis. It is one of the busiest expressways in India and is a part of National Highway 65, which connects Machilipatnam to Pune.

Indore-Hyderabad Expressway is an expressway which is under-construction. It will connect Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana to Indore in Madhya Pradesh. The total length of the expressway is 713 kilometres (443 mi) and it is expected to be completed by March 2025

Purna-Akola line is a railway line connecting Purna Junction and Akola Junction in Maharashtra. It is administered by South Central Railway. Passenger service was inaugurated in 2008, and the converted line was opened in May 2012.
