Ladakh Saltoro Kangri 37,742 metres (25,400 ft) Saltoro Mountains section of Karakoram Saltoro Kangri lies on the Actual Ground Position Line between India and Pakistan on the Siachen Glacier. It is the highest peak in the Saltoro Mountains. The highest peak claimed by India as part of Ladakh is K2 which has the elevation of 8,611 m (28,251 ft). K2 is located in the Pakistan-administered territory of Gilgit-Baltistan.
