Nature Cat is an educational animated children's television series that premiered on November 25,2015 on PBS Kids and is aimed at children aged 3–8. The series follows the adventures of four main characters:Nature Cat,Hal the Dog,Squeeks the Mouse,and Daisy the Bunny. The show has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program". The series debut in November achieved nearly 3.7 million viewers,and by March it has achieved 69 million video streams across online platforms. As of October 2016,Nature Cat has been renewed for a second and third season. The second season premiered on January 1,2018. Then the third season premiered on April 18,2019. In 2021,the show was renewed for a fourth and fifth season. The fourth season premiered on May 9,2022,while the fifth and final season premiered on April 17,2023.
Liturgusa krattorum,also known as the Kratts' Lichen Mantis,is a species of mantis that was discovered by Gavin Svenson and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History in 2014. These species of mantis are mainly found in Peru. They live in tall trees,where they are preyed upon by predators such as birds and monkeys. The species themselves prey upon smaller insects,using their great speed in order to catch and kill prey in a similar method to species such as cheetahs. Ambush predator behaviors have also been observed. They are very small at a few centimeters long.
Let's Go Luna! is an educational animated children's television series created by Joe Murray that aired on PBS Kids. Murray formerly worked on the Nickelodeon animated series Rocko's Modern Life and Cartoon Network animated series Camp Lazlo. It is co-produced by 9 Story Media Group. Judy Greer provides the voice of the titular Luna. In the first season,there are 38 half-hour episodes and a one-hour special. The second season has 26 episodes and premiered on May 10,2021. Each episode consists of two 11-minute story segments,with a short segment of one of the characters telling a folktale,song or poem from that country in between.
