Medge Hall Halt was a small railway station in Lincolnshire, on the Doncaster to Cleethorpes Line, close to the border with Yorkshire. It served the local Medge Hall. The station was opened by the South Yorkshire Railway in September 1859. It closed in 1960, though the line it stood on is still open. [1] [2]

Gathurst railway station is a two-platform railway station on the outskirts of the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. The station is on the Southport line 2+3⁄4 miles north west of Wigan Wallgate station. It is currently operated by Northern Trains.
Hull Paragon Interchange is a transport interchange providing rail, bus and coach services located in the city centre of Kingston upon Hull, England. The G. T. Andrews-designed station was originally named Paragon Station, and together with the adjoining Station Hotel, it opened in 1847 as the new Hull terminus for the growing traffic of the York and North Midland (Y&NMR) leased to the Hull and Selby Railway (H&S). As well as trains to the west, the station was the terminus of the Y&NMR and H&S railway's Hull to Scarborough Line. From the 1860s the station also became the terminus of the Hull and Holderness and Hull and Hornsea railways.

Towneley railway station was a station in Lancashire which served Burnley Wood and the nearby Towneley Hall on the eastern edge of Burnley. Opened on 12 November 1849 by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway, it was served by local trains on the Todmorden to Burnley line until closure by British Railways London Midland Region on 4 August 1952. The station house survives as a private residence, whilst the signal box remains in use to supervise a busy level crossing next to the former station site.

Warmsworth railway station was a railway station to serve the village of Warmsworth, South Yorkshire, England and was on the Hull and Barnsley and Great Central Joint Railway. It was built ready for the opening of the line on 1 May 1916 with flanking platforms and facilities. However, although the line opened to goods traffic on that date, along with the other stations on the line it never opened for passengers.
Sykehouse railway station was a station on the Hull and Barnsley and Great Central Joint Railway between Thorpe-in-Balne and Snaith and Pollington. It was built with the line which opened on 1 May 1916, but the station never opened to passengers. Like most stations on this line, it was situated on the edge of Sykehouse some distance from the village centre, in the hamlet of Topham, just south of where the railway crossed the River Went. Despite never opening to passengers, the station had the necessary facilities, and the two flanking platforms remained in situ until 1960.
Godnow Bridge railway station was a small railway station on the line between Doncaster and Keadby, between Medge Hall Halt and Crowle. The area is shown on old maps as "Godknow Bridge". It was opened with the line from Thorne (Old) railway station in September 1859 and closed in 1917.
The Selby–Goole line was a standard gauge branch line connecting Selby and Goole, built in 1910 by the North Eastern Railway. The line closed in the 1960s as part of the Beeching cuts.
Todd Lane Junction, previously called Preston Junction until 1952, was a railway station between Preston and Bamber Bridge which closed to passenger traffic on 7 October 1968. The station was immediately to the north of a triangular junction between lines from Preston, East Lancashire via Bamber Bridge, and Ormskirk via Lostock Hall. The station served as an interchange between the lines. The line from Preston to Bamber Bridge via Todd Lane remained open for freight trains until 4 September 1972 to serve Lostock Hall Gas Works. The track bed is now a public footpath and cycleway.
The Hull and Doncaster Branch is a secondary main railway line in England, connecting Kingston upon Hull to South Yorkshire and beyond via a branch from the Selby Line near Gilberdyke to a connection to the Doncaster–Barnetby line at a junction near Thorne 8 miles north-east of Doncaster.
