During this period, Italy have achieved first place at UEFA Euro 2020, second place at UEFA Euro 2012 and the CONMEBOL–UEFA Cup of Champions, and third place at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, 2020–21 UEFA Nations League and 2022–23 UEFA Nations League.
