Sattiraju Lakshminarayana, known professionally as Bapu, was an Indian film director, painter, illustrator, cartoonist, screenwriter, music artist, and designer known for his works in Telugu cinema along with a few Hindi films. In 2013, he was awarded the Padma Shri, for his contribution to Indian art and cinema. He has garnered two National Honors, two National Film Awards, seven state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Awards South, a Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and a Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South.
Kota Srinivasa Rao is an Indian character actor known for his work primarily in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He has also starred in a few films in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Atluri Sriman Narayana is an Indian dental surgeon, a former Professor of Dental Surgery in Government Dental College, Hyderabad and a former State Coordinator of the Andhra Pradesh School Health Services known for the free dental camps he has conducted across the villages in Andhra Pradesh since 1974. He founded the Sai Oral Health Foundation, under the aegis of which he makes weekly trips to the rural areas of the state, conducts medical camps and delivers lectures at schools educating the rural masses about oral hygiene. His efforts are reported to have reached 1.5 million children in 20,000 schools.

The Government of India honoured him in 1961,with the award of Padma Shri, the fourth highest Indian civilian award for his services to the nation. His son, Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, was a recipient of Padma Bhushan, a member of parliament and a former minister.

The Government of India awarded him Padma Shri in 1991 and Padma Bhushan in 2016.
Mohinder Nath Passey (1934–2002) was an Indian physician, rheumatologist and an honorary physician to the President of India. He secured his graduate and post graduate degrees in medicine from Gwalior and started his career as the Medical Registrar at Irwin Hospital. Moving on to Hindu Rao Hospital in 1964, as a medical specialist, he stayed there until 1985, retiring as the Consultant and Head of the Department of Medicine. After superannuation, he worked with Mahalaxmi Hospital until his death on 30 May 2002. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian award of Padma Shri in 1991.

C. Roy Award, the highest Indian award in the medical category. He heads the National Board of Examinations as its president, the highest academic position in the medical sector in India. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2008, for his contributions to medical science.
Suhas Vitthal Mapuskar was an Indian physician and social activist who was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India posthumously in 2017. He had received the Nirmal Gram Award from late President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in 2006. He dedicated his life to make Dehu village open defecation free beginning as early as in the 1960s. He is known for his work in the field of rural sanitation in Maharashtra.
