John Ebnezar is an Indian orthopaedic doctor, known for promoting wholistic orthopaedics, a practice combining modern medical techniques with yoga for the management of osteoarthritis. [1]

Pakkiam Vaikundam Arulanandam Mohandas is an Indian orthopedic surgeon from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is the founder and Mentor of Madras Institute of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, known as MIOT Hospital. He is a former assistant professor of Orthopedics at Stanley Medical College and former professor at Madras Medical College and Kilpauk Medical College, three of the known medical institutions in Chennai. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri in 1992. He is married to Mallika who is the chairman of the MIOT Hospitals.

Gurumukh Sajanmal Sainani is an Indian general physician, medical researcher, medical writer and an Emeritus Professor of the National Academy of Medical Sciences. He is a former director of the All India Heart Foundation and the incumbent director of Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. He is a recipient of the highest Indian award in the medical category, Dr. B. C. Roy Award, from the Medical Council of India and the rank of Honorary Brigadier from the President of India. Prithipal Singh Maini is an Indian orthopedic surgeon and the senior consultant surgeon at Sir Ganga Ram City Hospital, New Delhi. He is also a Consultant Orthopaedist at Sama Hospital, New Delhi.

Laxmi Chand Gupta was an Indian medical doctor, radiologist and writer, specialized in sports medicine. He was the medical director of Border Security Force and was a recipient of several honors including the SAARC Literary Award and the B. C. Roy Award, the highest Indian award in the medical category. He has been involved with the organization of medical conferences, and was the co-chairman of the organizing committee of Knee and Arthroscopy Workshop of 2008 and the patron of the Lower Limb Symposia of 2012, conducted jointly by the Indian Federation of Sports Medicine, Indian Arthroscopy Society and Indian Association of Sports Medicine. He was in the news when he examined Sachin Tendulkar in 1999 for his recurring back injury. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2011, for his contributions to medical science. He is also a recipient of a civilian honor from the Government of Bangladesh. Indian Orthopedic Association has instituted an award, S. P. Mandal Gold Medal, in his honor.

Arjunan Rajasekaran is an Indian urologist and one of the pioneers of male infertility therapy in India. He is a former professor and head of the Department of Urology at the Madras Medical College, the founder of Madras Andrology and Assisted Reproduction Research Centre, a Chennai-based male infertility clinic, and a recipient of Dr. B. C. Roy Award, the highest Indian award in the medical category. He heads the National Board of Examinations as its president, the highest academic position in the medical sector in India. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2008, for his contributions to medical science.

Santosh Gajanan Honavar is an Indian ophthalmologist and is currently the Honorary General Secretary of the All India Ophthalmological Society; Director of Medical Services ; Director, Department of Ocular Oncology and Oculoplasty at Centre for Sight, Hyderabad; and Director, National Retinoblastoma Foundation. He was the Editor of the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology and Indian Journal of Ophthalmology - Case Reports, the official journals of the All India Ophthalmological Society from 2017 to 2023.

Gopal Krishna Vishwakarma, more popularly known as G K Vishwakarma, was an eminent orthopedic surgeon, academician and public health administrator. He was the Director General of Health Services from October 1986 to his retirement in October 1992. He was awarded the Silver Jubilee Award (1983) and the Dr. B. C. Roy Award by Medical Council of India, The Government of India, in recognition of his contributions to the field of medicine and public health honored him with the Padma Shri (1985) one of India's highest civilian awards in India.

Trilok Chandra Goel (T C Goel) (born October 3, 1938) worked as a Professor of Surgery in King George's Medical University, Lucknow, India between 1986 and 1999. He was re-appointed Emeritus Professor in 2015.
