Ravi Kant (born 14 September 1956) is a professor of Surgery at Sharda University,who was the director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences,Rishikesh from 2017 to 2021 [5] and the Vice Chancellor of King George's Medical University from 2014 to 2017. Earlier he was head of surgery at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Bhopal and faculty at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi. The Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri in 2016. [3] [6]

King George's Medical University is a medical school,hospital,and medical university located in Lucknow,Uttar Pradesh,India. The medical school was raised to a medical university by an act passed by the government of Uttar Pradesh on 16 September 2002. It is the only government medical institution to have been awarded the NAAC A+ grade in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Roy Award,the highest Indian award in the medical category. Ashok Panagariya was awarded the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2014. He died on 11 June 2021 due to COVID-19 complications.

The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri,in 2008,for his contributions to medicine.
Anil Kohli is an Indian dental surgeon,medical administrator and a former president of the Dental Council of India. He is an elected fellow of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and holds the honorary rank of 'Brigadier' in the Army Dental Corps. He is a recipient of B. C. Atul Kumar is an Indian ophthalmologist who is currently the Chief &Professor of Ophthalmology at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (RPC-AIIMS),the national apex ophthalmic centre at All India Institute of Medical Sciences,Delhi. He was awarded the Padma Shri award in January 2007 for his services to the medical field. He specializes in vitreoretinal surgery and also heads the Vitreo-Retinal,Uvea and ROP services at RPC-AIIMS.
Gopal Krishna Vishwakarma,more popularly known as G K Vishwakarma,was an eminent orthopedic surgeon,academician and public health administrator. He was the Director General of Health Services from October 1986 to his retirement in October 1992. He was awarded the Silver Jubilee Award (1983) and the Dr. B. C. Roy Award by Medical Council of India,The Government of India,in recognition of his contributions to the field of medicine and public health honored him with the Padma Shri (1985) one of India's highest civilian awards in India.
