Career

Shaikha Al Sabah is the founder of Daratma Studio, a wellness center based in Kuwait that promotes yoga, mindfulness, and holistic health. She has played a significant role in popularizing yoga among Kuwaitis, especially youth and women, and has contributed to making wellness practices accessible and inclusive in the region. [4] [5]

In 2024, she met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the region, where her efforts in yoga advocacy were acknowledged. [6] Her studio has collaborated with community centers, embassies, and wellness forums to spread awareness of Indian yoga traditions in the Gulf region. [7]
