Miss Grand Australia 2019 was the fifth edition of the Miss Grand Australia pageant, held on June 16, 2019, at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Sydney, [1] [2] [3] where a 24-year-old disability support worker from Gold Coast, Taylor Marlene, was announced the winner, [2] [4] [5] outclassing other twenty-one candidates. [2] [6] Meanwhile, Anja Christ Offersen, Lavinia Grace White, Alecia Mccallum, Jazel Alarca, and Jayde Crystal Wright were named runners-up. [7] Taylor later represented Australia at the Miss Grand International 2019 pageant in Venezuela, [8] [9] and was placed among the top 10 finalists. [10] [11]

The nineteen-year-old Valentina Figuera was the first Venezuelan representative to win the title since the establishment of the contest. As was normal for the event, she was crowned by her immediate predecessor, Clara Sosa of Paraguay.

Meanwhile, the first to fourth vice-miss titles was awarded to the representatives of the Philippines, Thailand, Puerto Rico, and the United States, respectively.

Miss Grand United Kingdom is a female beauty pageant in the United Kingdom, founded in 2015 by a Lancashire-based pageant organizer, Pageant Girls UK, chaired by Holly Louise, who was also the UK license holder for various other international pageants such as Miss Earth, Miss International and Miss Intercontinental. The winners of the contest, which usually comprises three or four titles, including Miss Grand England, Miss Grand Wales, Miss Grand Scotland, and Miss Grand Northern Ireland, represent their countries in the international parent contest, Miss Grand International. However, as the former licensee was unable to send the elected delegates to compete in the 2019 international contest in Venezuela, the competition license was transferred to Megan Darlington in 2020, and subsequently to Kathryn Fanshawe in mid-2022.
Miss Grand Australia 2018 was the fourth edition of the Miss Grand Australia pageant, held on June 16, 2018, at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Sydney, where a 26-year-old Zimbabwe-born law student from Melbourne, Kimberly Gundani, was announced the winner, outclassing other forty-one finalists. Meanwhile, Chloe Maddison Ryan, Jasmine Leatham, Krishna Shukla, and Alana Thomas were named the runners-up. Kimberly later represented the country at the Miss Grand International 2018 pageant in Myanmar, and was placed among the top 20 finalists.

Before 2019, all country representatives in such an international contest were appointed; most of them were the Miss Prestige National finalists.
Miss Grand Ireland is a national beauty pageant title awarded to Irish representatives chosen to compete at the Miss Grand International pageant. The title was first awarded in 2013 to the runner-up of Britain's Big Brother series 15, Ashleigh Coyle, after she competed at the 2017 Miss International United Kingdom; however, Coyle did not partake in the international tournament in Vietnam.

Candidates from seventy-seven countries and territories competed for the title, of whom a 20-year-old Dominican American from Rhode Island representing Dominican Republic, Anea Garcia, was announced the winner and received a cash prize of 40,000 USD as a reward. Meanwhile, the candidates from Miss Grand Australia, Miss Grand India, the Miss Grand Philippines, and Miss Grand Thailand were named the runners-up. However, due to the inability to fulfill the agreement, the original winner from the Dominican Republic was later replaced by the first vice-miss, Claire Parker of Australia, in early 2016.
