Miss Grand Cambodia 2022 was the eighth edition of the Miss Grand Cambodia beauty contest, held on 27 August 2022 at the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. [1] [2] [3] Miss Grand Cambodia 2021 Pokimtheng Sothida crowned her successor, Saravody Pich Votey at the end of the event. [4]
Delegates from twenty-five provinces and three cities of Cambodia, as well as Cambodian communities in seven countries, competed for the title, [5] of which, the representative of Preah Sihanouk province, Saravady Pich Votey, was announced the winner, [6] and will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2022. The eighth edition of the Miss Grand Cambodia beauty contest was scheduled to be held on 27 August 2022. The press conference of the contest will be conducted in Phnom Penh. [1]

Applications for Miss Grand Cambodia started on 7 May and applications ended on 15 July. The official press presentation for Miss Grand Cambodia 2022 will be held on 25 July 2022. Miss Grand Cambodia this year for the first time, is officially allowing international countries to participate with debuting countries Canada, New Zealand, Thailand and Vietnam to participate whereas Australia, France and United States to return from the 2020 edition of Miss Grand Cambodia. A new crown will be used to award the winner of the Miss Grand Cambodia pageant for the 2022 edition. The crown costs US$250,000 (KHR 1,019,513,000 ៛). [1] [2] Extra crowns will be awarded to the runners-up, but this time the runners up will be sent to other international pageants. The winner will be sent to Miss Grand International 2022, the 1st runner-up will be sent to Miss Earth 2022, the 2nd runner-up will be sent to Miss Global for 2023, the 3rd runner-up will be sent to Miss Interglobal for 2023 and the 4th runner-up will be sent to Miss Polo International for 2023. Miss Grand Cambodia is an annual female beauty pageant in Cambodia, founded in 2015 by BKA Entertainment chaired by a Thai businessperson in Cambodia Boonkerd Angamnuaysiri, the finalists of the contest have been sent to participate in various international contests including its parent stage, Miss Grand International. In 2020, The pageant patent was transferred to a Phnom Penh-based event organizer managed by Sophin In, Mohahang Production, and then to a cosmetics and dietary supplement retailer, HK 7 Co., Ltd., headed by Sokunthea Im, in 2023.
Miss Grand Cambodia 2021 was the seventh edition of the Miss Grand Cambodia beauty pageant, held at the AEON Mall, Sen Sok City in Phnom Penh, on October 10, 2021. Twenty-five contestants, who qualified for the national contest through online screening, competed for the title, of whom a 23-year-old nursing student Miss City Tourism and Miss-Asia Pacific International Cambodia former from Battambang, Sothida Pokimtheng, was named the winner.She later represented Cambodia in the Miss Grand International 2021 held that year in Thailand on December 4, where she placed among the top 10 finalists and also won the Miss Popular Vote awards.
Miss Grand Cambodia 2023 will be the ninth edition of the Miss Grand Cambodia beauty pageant, scheduled to be held in 19 August 2023 in Koh Pich Theatre, Phnom Penh. Twenty-five candidates, who have qualified for the national pageant through an online profile screening performed in April. Pich Votey Saravody of Preah Sihanouk crowned Phoem Sreyno of Phnom Penh at the end of the event. Phoem Sreyno will represent Cambodia in Miss Grand International 2023, to be held in Vietnam on October 25.
