Miss Grand United States 2017 was the second edition of the Miss Grand USA pageant, held on July 25, 2017 at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia, Symphony Space, New York City. Contestants from seventeen U.S. states competed for the title, of whom the representative of California, Taylor Kessler, was announced the winner. [1] [2] She then represented the United States at Miss Grand International 2017 in Vietnam, [2] [3] but did not qualify to the top 10 finalists. [4]

In addition to the main winner, the first runner-up, Brianna Key, was later appointed as Miss Grand United States Virgin Islands 2017 to compete internationally in Vietnam but also received a non-placement. [4] [5]

Miss Grand Ecuador 2021 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Ecuador beauty pageant, held on June 26, 2021, at the TC Televisión Studios in Guayaquil. Six contestants, qualified for the national stage through an online audition, competed for the title, of whom the a 20-year old medical student and model from Los Ríos, Andrea Aguilera, was elected the winner. Miss Grand United Kingdom is a female beauty pageant in the United Kingdom, founded in 2015 by a Lancashire-based pageant organizer, Pageant Girls UK, chaired by Holly Louise, who was also the UK license holder for various other international pageants such as Miss Earth, Miss International and Miss Intercontinental. The winners of the contest, which usually comprises three or four titles, including Miss Grand England, Miss Grand Wales, Miss Grand Scotland, and Miss Grand Northern Ireland, represent their countries in the international parent contest, Miss Grand International. Miss Grand US Virgin Islands is a national beauty pageant title awarded to women chosen to represent the US Virgin Islands at the Miss Grand International contest. The title was first awarded in 2014 when a 24-year-old Stateside Puerto Rican, Wilma Echandy, was appointed to represent the US Virgin Islands in Miss Grand International 2014 in Thailand. Under the directorship of Brian Javier, the first contest of Miss Grand US Virgin Islands was expected to be held in March 2024.

Miss Grand International 2017 was the fifth edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, held on October 25, 2017 at the Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort and Villas Convention Hall, Phú Quốc, Vietnam. Contestants from seventy-seven countries and territories competed for the title, of whom María José Lora of Peru was announced the winner and was crowned by Miss Grand International 2016, Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia, while the representatives of the Czech Republic, Philippines, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela were named the runners-up.

The fifth edition of the Miss Grand International pageant was held at the Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort and Villas Convention Hall, Phú Quốc, Vietnam on October 25, 2017, in which candidates from 77 countries and territories participated. These candidates were elected as the country representatives through different methods, such as through the Miss Grand National which was held to select the country representative for Miss Grand International specifically, or appointed by another national pageant organizer, in which the main winner was sent to compete on other international stages. Some of them were assigned as the representatives without competing at any national pageant in this particular year.
