Miss Grand Nigeria 2016 was the second edition of the Miss Grand Nigeria beauty pageant, held on September 11, 2016, at the Victoria Crown Plaza Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. [1] [2] [3] Candidates from eighteen states of Nigeria competed for the title and the representative of Edo State, Rachael Onuwa Ikekhuame, was named the winner and received one million Nigerian naira cash prize as a reward. [1] She then represented the country at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant in Las Vegas, United States, but she was unplaced. [4]

The grand final round of the pageant was hosted by comedian Akinlami Babatunde Julius (also known as Elenu) and radio personality Double O. [1]

At the end of the event Claire Elizabeth Parker, Miss Grand International 2015 of Australia crowned Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia as her successor, making her the first Asian candidate to win the title. Miss Grand Nepal 2018 was the second edition of the Miss Grand Nepal beauty pageant, held on August 4, 2018, at the Hotel Gurkha Heritage in Kathmandu. Ten contestants, who qualified through the audions held countrywide, competed for the title, of whom a 26-year-old media personality from Kathmandu, Urussa Joshi, was named the winner, and received रु50,000 rupee cash and a Suzuki scooter as the prize, while the first and the second runners-up, Eksha Maden of Dhangadhi and Riya Gaihre of Lalitpur, obtained cash of रु30,000 and रु20,000 rupee, respectively. Urussa Joshi then represented Nepal at Miss Grand International 2018 held later that year on October 25 in Myanmar, but she got a non-placement.

Miss Grand Cambodia 2016 was the second edition of the Miss Grand Cambodia beauty pageant, held at the Nagaworld Hotel in Phnom Penh, on June 30, 2016. Twenty-three contestants, who qualified for the national contest through online screening, competed for the title, of whom a 19-year-old nursing student from Phnom Penh, Heng Chantha, was named the winner, and was expected to represent the country at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada, however, her visa application was rejected by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement caused her to withdraw from the competition.

Miss Grand Nigeria was a Nigerian female beauty pageant founded in 2015 by a Lagos based event organizer chaired by Loveth Ajufoh, QLA Nigeria. The winners of the contest, which was held individually twice, represented Nigeria at its parent competition, Miss Grand International. Previously, the contest's license belonged to AMC Productions, the organizer of the Miss Earth Nigeria pageant, before being transferred to QLA Nigeria Limited, 001 Entertainment – the organizer of The Nigerian Queen, and the Qhue Group. in 2015, 2020, and 2023, respectively.

She then represented the country at the Miss Grand International 2015 in Thailand, but she was unplaced.

Miss Ideal Nigeria established in 2014 is a Nigerian beauty pageant organized by the House of Twitch and is aimed at empowering young women across Nigeria. The winners and runners up of Miss Ideal Nigeria automatically represents Nigeria at Miss Global Beauty queen pageant, Miss Tourism World, and Top Model of the World.
