Miss Grand West Java (Indonesian : Miss Grand Jawa Barat) is an Indonesian provincial beauty pageant, a preliminary in West Java for the Miss Grand Indonesia national contest. [1] [2] [3] [4] It was founded in 2019 by an entrepreneur, Audi Reza Hartanto. [4]
West Java produced one Miss Grand Indonesia winner: Aurra Kharishma , who won the title in 2020. [5]
After the Miss Grand Indonesia pageant began franchising the right to send candidates to the national competition in 2018, the license for West Java was obtained by a local entrepreneur, Audi Reza Hartanto, [4] who organized the first Miss Grand West Java contest in Bandung on 6 May 2018 and named a model Mentari Novel the winner. [6] Mentari later represented the province in the Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 national pageant and was placed among the top 10 finalists. [7] [8]
The pageant was dissolved in 2020 after the national license of Miss Grand Indonesia was granted to Ivan Gunawan, [5] [9] who decided not to franchise the provincial licenses to local organizers and instead selected the finalists for the Miss Grand Indonesia 2020 through the online application. [9] [10] Gunawan also established a new national pageant, Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia, as an umbrella pageant for Miss Grand Indonesia in 2023. [11]

Puteri Indonesia is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia. Puteri Indonesia is traditionally held in March, alongside the celebration of International Women's Day. The pageant annually sends its representative to compete at Miss International, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. The pageant also sends representatives for Miss Supranational, Miss Charm, and Miss Cosmo pageants.
Puteri Indonesia 2017, the 21st Puteri Indonesia pageant was held on March 31, 2017, at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta. Kezia Warouw, Puteri Indonesia 2016 of North Sulawesi crowned her successor Bunga Jelitha of Jakarta Special Capital Region 5 at the end of the event. All 38 contestants from 33 provinces competed for the crown. The winner will represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2017, while the runners-up will compete at the Miss International 2017, Miss Supranational 2017, and Miss Grand International 2017. Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere of France and Miss Grand International 2016 Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia attend at the Grand Final Show. Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova of Canada also attended the show as a judge.
Persatuan Sepakbola Kota Cimahi commonly known as PSKC Cimahi is an Indonesian football club based in Cimahi, West Java. They currently compete in the Liga 2.
