Miss Grand Cambodia 2023 was the ninth edition of the Miss Grand Cambodia beauty pageant, held on 19 August 2023 in Koh Pich Theatre, Phnom Penh. [1] Twenty-five candidates, who qualified for the national pageant through an online profile screening performed in April, competed for the title. At the end of the event, Pich Votey Saravody of Preah Sihanouk crowned Phoem Sreynor of Phnom Penh as her successor. [2] Phoem Sreynor later represented Cambodia in Miss Grand International 2023, [3] held in Vietnam on October 25, [4] but was unplaced.
The event will be the first Miss Grand Cambodia competition organized by a Phnom Penh-based cosmetic products manufacturer and retailer company, HK 7 Co., Ltd., after purchasing the license from the international firm, MGI PLC, in late 2022. [5] [6]
After a cosmetic products company headed by Sokunthea Im, HK 7 Co., Ltd., took over the franchise of the Miss Grand Cambodia contest from Mohahang Production in late 2022, the press conference of the 2023 Miss Grand Cambodia competition was later arranged on February 1, 2023, at the AEON Mall Sen Sok City. [1] [5] [6] and the application for such was opened on February 17. [6] All summited applicants were then screened by the pageant organizer to determine the final 25 national candidates. [3] Each qualified candidate was later assigned to represent one of the 25 country's provinces; the sashing ceremony was conducted on May 21. [7]

Phnom Penh is the capital and most populous city of Cambodia. It has been the national capital since the French protectorate of Cambodia and has grown to become the nation's primate city and its economic, industrial, and cultural centre. Before Phnom Penh became capital city, Oudong was the capital of the country.
Miss Cambodia is a national Beauty pageant in Cambodia which also selects other winners to participate in big beauty pageants like Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth. Khin Sok was a Cambodian historian, linguist, literature and arts scholar. He acquired a doctorate of history in Paris, published scientific works, taught as a professor in the Royal University of Phnom Penh and was a member of the Royal Academy of Cambodia. His publications during the second half of the 20th century profoundly contributed to the scientific interpretation of historical sources, literature and the systemic development of the modern Khmer language. As a participant of the Khmerization movement he encouraged the promotion of a culturally independent Cambodia on the basis of enlightened and scholarly education in an international context.

Miss Grand Cambodia 2016 was the second edition of the Miss Grand Cambodia beauty pageant, held at the Nagaworld Hotel in Phnom Penh, on June 30, 2016. Twenty-three contestants, who qualified for the national contest through online screening, competed for the title, of whom a 19-year-old nursing student from Phnom Penh, Heng Chantha, was named the winner, and was expected to represent the country at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada, however, her visa application was rejected by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement caused her to withdraw from the competition.
Miss Grand Cambodia 2021 was the seventh edition of the Miss Grand Cambodia beauty pageant, held at the AEON Mall, Sen Sok City in Phnom Penh, on October 10, 2021. Twenty-five contestants, who qualified for the national contest through online screening, competed for the title, of whom a 23-year-old nursing student Miss City Tourism and Miss-Asia Pacific International Cambodia former from Battambang, Sothida Pokimtheng, was named the winner. She later represented Cambodia in the Miss Grand International 2021 held that year in Thailand on December 4, where she placed among the top 10 finalists and also won the Miss Popular Vote awards.

Miss Grand Cambodia 2024 was the 10th edition of the Miss Grand Cambodia pageant, held in Koh Pich Theater in Phnom Penh on 12 July 2024. Contestants from 25 provinces and autonomous municipality of Cambodia competed for the title. At the end of the event, Phoem Sreynor of Phnom Penh crowned Sotheary Bee of Kampong Chhnang as her successor. Sotheary Bee will represent the country at the international parent stage, Miss Grand International 2024, to be finalized on October 25, 2024, in Thailand.
Pich Sophann is a retired professional Kun Khmer fighter and kickboxer. Now he is a Kun Khmer trainer and a founder of Pich Sophann 8888 Kun Khmer Gym and Kun Khmer Grassroots Super fight and Gym. He has 40 trainees under his supervision included Pich Sambath, a famous champion of Kun Khmer lightweight 60 kg. Sophann was named as Heavy Fist Punch Fighter during his fighting career from 1999–2009.
