Miss Grand and Miss Supranational Australia 2016 was an Australian beauty contest held to determine the country representatives for the Miss Grand International 2016 and Miss Supranational 2016 pageants. [1] [2] [3] The event was held on 14 August 2016, [1] [2] at the Playhouse Theatre located in the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Sydney. [4] Eighteen candidates from different states and territories competed for the title, and a 27-year-old Pharmacist based in New South Wales, Dani Fitch, was named Miss Grand Australia 2016, [1] [3] while Silka Kurzak of Queensland was elected Miss Supranational Australia 2016. [1] [2]
In addition to the main winners, one of the national aspirants, Anyier Teresa Yuol of New South Wales, who finished as the first runner-up at the competition, was also appointed "Miss Grand South Sudan 2016", [5] [6] since she has South Sudanese descent but relocated to Australia due to the civil war in the country. [6]
Both Dani Fitch and Silka Kurzak were respectively placed among the top 20 and 25 finalists in the international competition held in the United States and Poland, [7] [8] while Teresa Yuol was unplaced. [7] Dani Fitch later became the national director of Miss Grand Australia the following year. [9] [10]

Puteri Indonesia is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia. Puteri Indonesia is traditionally held in March, alongside the celebration of International Women's Day. The pageant annually sends its winner to represent the country at Miss International, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. The pageant also sends representatives for Miss Supranational, Miss Charm, and Miss Cosmo pageants.

Miss Grand and Miss Supranational Australia 2014 was an Australian beauty contest held to determine the country representatives for the Miss Grand International 2014 and Miss Supranational 2014 pageants. The event was held on August 30, 2014, at the TRAK Live Lounge Bar in the city of Melbourne. Nineteen candidates from different states and territories competed for the title, and a model from New South Wales, Renera Thompson, was named Miss Grand Australia 2014, with Breanna Herbert from Victoria as the vicemiss, while a Filipina-Austrian model/TV presenter from Sydney, Yvonne Amores, was elected Miss Supranational Australia 2014.
Miss Grand Australia 2023 was the seventh edition of the Miss Grand Australia pageant, held on July 15, 2023, at the RACV City Club located in the capital of Victoria state, Greater Melbourne. Thirty candidates, who have qualified for the national pageant through an online profile screening performed from February to March, competed for the title, and a 28-year-old ADHDer and disability support worker from Victoria, Mikaela-Rose Fowler, was announced the winner. Her court consisted of four runners-up including Paitin Louise Powell 1st runner-up, Brooke Murray 2nd runner-up, Selina McCloskey 3rd runner-up, and Alecia McCallum 4th runner-up. Fowler will later represent the country at the parent international stage, Miss Grand International 2023, to be held in Vietnam on October 25.
Miss Grand South Sudan is a national beauty pageant title awarded to women selected to represent South Sudan at the Miss Grand International pageant. The title was first awarded in 2014 on the stage of Beauties of South Sudan (B.O.S.S.) which was a national pageant held by former Miss World South Sudan, Atong Demach. However, the first titleholder, Akan William, did not compete internationally due to her university study issues. The partnership between the B.O.S.S. and the Miss Grand International firm was terminated in 2018; since then, to date, no South Sudanese representatives have additionally been sent to compete.
