Miss Grand United Kingdom 2023 was the third edition of the Miss Grand United Kingdom pageant, held on August 13, 2023, [1] [2] [3] at the Aures London, London. [1] [3] [4] [5] Five finalists, who qualified for the national final through the preliminary contest arranged on July 16, competed for the title, of whom a 23-year-old marketing manager representing Sussex, Chloe Ellman-Baker, was announced the winner. [1] [6] [7] Baker later represented the United Kingdom at Miss Grand International 2023, [1] [2] held in Vietnam on October 25 of that year, [8] [9] but was unplaced. [10] [11]

Only one winner was crowned in this year's contest, [1] [6] [7] unlike the previous two editions in which the representatives of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales were selected. [12] [13]

This edition was the first Miss Grand United Kingdom contest organized by Kathryn Fanshawe after acquiring the license in 2022. [6] The pageant's grand final round was also attended by Miss Grand Gibraltar 2023, Jaylynn Cruz. [2] [6]

Thirty candidates, who have qualified for the national pageant through an online profile screening performed from February to March, competed for the title, and a 28-year-old ADHDer and disability support worker from Victoria, Mikaela-Rose Fowler, was announced the winner. Miss International Queen Vietnam 2023, the 3rd Miss International Queen Vietnam pageant, was held on April 8, 2023, in Hồ Chí Minh City. Vietnam. Phùng Trương Trân Đài of California crowned her successor Nguyễn Hà Dịu Thảo of Hải Dương at the end of the event.

Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2023 was the second edition of the Miss Grand Dominican Republic pageant, held on August 5, 2023, at the Cibao Grand Theatre, Santiago de los Caballeros. Candidates from eighteen provinces and municipalities of the country competed for the right to represent the country at its parent international stage, Miss Grand International 2023, to be held in Vietnam on October 25. Some of them were assigned as the representatives without competing at any national pageant in this particular year.

Miss Grand International 2021 was the ninth edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, held on 4 December 2021 at the Show DC hall, Show DC Mega Complex in Bangkok, Thailand. Contestants from fifty-nine countries and territories competed for the title, of whom an International Hotel and Restaurant Management-graduated representing Vietnam, Nguyễn Thúc Thùy Tiên, was announced the winner. Thùy Tiên was crowned by the predecessor Abena Appiah of the United States and received a cash of 60,000 USD as a reward. Meanwhile, the first to fourth vice-miss titles was awarded to the representatives of Ecuador, Brazil, Puerto Rico, and South Africa, respectively.
