Miss Grand Honduras is a national beauty pageant in Honduras, founded in 2022 by a chairperson of AV Productions, Amelia Vega. [1] [2] [3] [4] The winner represents the country at its parent contest Miss Grand International. [1] [2] [4] Previously in 2013 to 2015, the license belonged to the Miss Honduras organization. [5] [6]
Honduras participated in the Miss Grand International pageant four times in 2013, 2015, 2021, and 2022, [3] [5] [6] but only qualified for the semi-final round once in 2022. [7] [8] [9] The reigning Miss Grand Honduras is Saira Cacho of Colón Department who was crowned on 10 July 2022 at La Galería in Tegucigalpa, she will represent Honduras in Miss Grand International 2022. [4] [10] [11]
Honduras participated at Miss Grand International for the first time in 2013, represented by former Miss Honduras 2013 Nelly Reyes, [5] who was appointed by the Miss Honduras organization which franchised the license for 2013 and 2015. [5] [6] However, no Honduran licensee for Miss Grand International from 2016 to 2020, but after such the hiatus, former Miss International Queen Honduras, Amelia Vega, acquired the license in 2021 and subsequently appointed Celia Monterrosa , Miss Honduras 2017, to participate in that year's edition in Thailand. [3] Moreover, under her directorship, an inaugural edition of Miss Grand Honduras also happen in the following year, aiming to determine country representatives for the Miss Grand International 2022 and 2023. [1] [2] [12] The contest featured eighteen finalists represented eighteen country departments, of which Saira Cacho of Colón was elected the main winner, [4] [10] [11] [13] while Britthany Marroquin of Copán was named the 2023 titleholder. In its first two editions, the national finalists were directly chosen by the central licensee through an online application then the qualified candidates were later assigned to represent one of the 18 country's administrative departments. [1] [2]

Julieta Castellanos is a Honduran sociologist and the dean of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) since 2009. Castellanos is known for campaigning against violence in Honduras, focusing on both drug cartels and police corruption. She has advocated for both judicial and police reform. Castellanos founded the Observatorio de la Violencia at UNAH in 2004, a center that analyzes crime statistics in Honduras. She was also a member of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which was tasked with clarifying the facts related to the 2009 coup that ousted President Manuel Zelaya.

Previously, the country representatives were selected by the International Portfolio Agency headed by Elías Tobón and Mara Borrego, either by handpicking or through their national pageant, Miss Earth Colombia. Currently, the franchise belongs to the Bogota-based modeling agency, Casa De Reinas SAS which owns and runs the Miss Grand Colombia beauty contest since 2022.
Miss Grand Ecuador is an Ecuadorian female national beauty pageant launched in 2021 by the Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador organization, directed by Tahiz Panus and Miguel Panus, with the aim of selecting a country representative to participate in its parent pageant, Miss Grand International. Previously, the competition franchise belonged to Maria del Carmen Aguayo, who usually chose the runners-up or national finalists from her national pageant, Miss Ecuador, to partake in such an international competition.

Eighteen candidates representing 18 departments of Honduras competed for the national title, of whom Saira Cacho Álvarez of Colón Department was named the winner. She then represented the country at the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant held on October 25 in Indonesia, where she was placed among the top 20 finalists, making her the first Honduran representative to obtain the position at Miss Grand International.
Miss Grand Colombia 2022 was the second edition of the Miss Grand Colombia beauty pageant, held on June 24, 2022, at the Hotel Grand Park, Bogotá. At the end of the event, a twenty-eight-year-old Colombian American from Houston, Priscilla Londoño, was announced the winner, outclassing the other twenty contestants. She then represented Colombia at the parent international contest, Miss Grand International 2022, held on October 25 in Indonesia, where she was placed among the top 10 finalists. On the occasion of celebrating the pageant's first decade anniversary, Priscilla was also assumed by the international organizer to be one of the fifth runners-up, and she then spent a few months of her reign working with the organization in Indonesia and Thailand.
Miss Grand Costa Rica is a San José-based female national beauty pageant in Costa Rica, organized separately for in first time in 2022 by the Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Costa Rica, with Erick Solis as the president. The winner of the contest represents the country at its parent competition, the Miss Grand International pageant. Before 2022, the competition license belonged to different organizers, such as the Reinas de Costa Rica organization (2015 – 2017) and the Miss Costa Rica organization (2018 – 2021). Most of the country's representatives at the Miss Grand International pageant during such a period were appointed without organizing the respective pageant.
Miss Grand Ecuador 2021 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Ecuador beauty pageant, held on June 26, 2021, at the TC Televisión Studios in Guayaquil. Six contestants, qualified for the national stage through an online audition, competed for the title, of whom the a 20-year old medical student and model from Los Ríos, Andrea Aguilera, was elected the winner. The contest was showcased under the direction of Tahiz Panus and Miguel Panus, presidents of the Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador, who have owned the Miss Grand Ecuador license since 2019.
Miss Grand International 2024 will be the 12th edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, to be held in Yangon, Myanmar on 25 October 2024 making it the second time the country to host the Miss Grand International pageant.

Sixteen candidates, who qualified for the national final round through an online profile screening, competed for the title, of whom a 20-year-old audiovisual and advertising communication student representing Francisco Morazán, Cecilia García, was announced the winner. Cecilia will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2024.
The 11th edition of the Miss Grand International pageant was held at the Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on October 25, 2023, in which candidates from 71 countries and territories participated. These candidates were elected as the country representatives through different methods, such as through the Miss Grand National which was held to select the country representative for Miss Grand International specifically, or appointed by another national pageant organizer, in which the main winner was sent to compete on other international stages. Some of them were assigned as the representatives without competing at any national pageant in this particular year.
Miss Grand International 2021 was the ninth edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, held on 4 December 2021 at the Show DC hall, Show DC Mega Complex in Bangkok, Thailand. Contestants from fifty-nine countries and territories competed for the title, of whom an International Hotel and Restaurant Management-graduated representing Vietnam, Nguyễn Thúc Thùy Tiên, was announced the winner. Thùy Tiên was crowned by the predecessor Abena Appiah of the United States and received a cash of 60,000 USD as a reward. Meanwhile, the first to fourth vice-miss titles was awarded to the representatives of Ecuador, Brazil, Puerto Rico, and South Africa, respectively.
