Miss Grand Marche is an Italian regional female beauty pageant, [1] [2] [3] [4] founded in 2021 by Francesca Guidi. [5] The winners of the contest represent the region of Marche in the Miss Grand Italy, [1] [2] [6] [7] an Italian national preliminary for Miss Grand International. [4] [8]

Since the inception of the Miss Grand Italy pageant, Marche candidates have never won the contest yet; however, the placements they obtained in the national round remain unclarified due to a lack of national competition results publicized by both regional and national organizers.

History

After Miss Grand Italy's director, Giuseppe Puzio, began franchising the regional competitions to local organizers, the license for the Marche region was granted to a Pesaro-based organizer, Francesca Guidi, [5] who has been serving as the Miss Grand Marche's director since 2021. [1] [9] [10] [11] Under the directorship of Francesca, the first contest of Miss Grand Marche happened on September 17, 2021, at the Modà Music Dinner Club in Gradara. [5]

Thirty-nine contestants chosen by various local organizers through their regional pageant competed for the title, of which an eighteen-year-old girl Miriam Malerba from Apulia was named the winner. Malerba later represented the country at the international competition, Miss Grand International 2022, held in Bali and Jakarta, Indonesia on 25 October. but got non-placement.

Miss Grand Italy 2023 was the fifth edition of the Miss Grand Italy pageant, held on 11 June 2023, at the Grand Hotel Pianeta Maratea, in the Province of Potenza. Forty-five candidates from different regions of the country competed for the title, of whom a 24-year-old Venezuelan-Italian professional model representing Aosta Valley, Andrea Zanettin, was named the main winner, while a 14-year-old girl from Naples, Aurora Fretta, was announced the winner of the Mascot category.
