Miss Grand Uganda is a national beauty pageant title awarded to Ugandan representatives competing at the Miss Grand International contest. [1] [2] [3] [4] The first titleholder was a 26-year-old model Pierra Akwero who was assigned to compete at the inaugural edition of Miss Grand International in Thailand in 2013. [5] Since 2022, the license to send Ugandan candidates to join the mentioned international contest has belonged to the Oliver Nakakande Foundation. [6]
Since the first competition in 2013, Ugandan representatives have never been placed in Miss Grand International. [7] [8] [9] [10]
Uganda occasionally takes part in Miss Grand International; it debuted in 2013 and was represented by an appointed representative, Pierra Akwero; [5] however, she was unplaced on the international stage held in Thailand. [7] The license was transferred to different licensees each year, and all representatives were directly hand-picked; no Miss Grand National was held to determine the titleholders. Miss Vietnam is a beauty contest in Vietnam that has been held biennially since 1988. Miss Vietnam is the oldest and most prestigious national beauty pageant of Vietnam. Since 2024, Miss Vietnam will represent Vietnam at Miss International.

Nguyễn Minh Tú is a Vietnamese supermodel, beauty pageant titleholder and actress. She won the silver prize in Vietnam Supermodel 2013 contest, and was runner-up in the fifth season of Asia's Next Top Model. She was one of three mentors of The Face Vietnam 2017, as well as a master mentor for season six of Asia's Next Top Model. In 2018, she was appointed as Miss Supranational Vietnam 2018 and represented Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2018, where she finished in the top ten, and in Miss Supranational Asia 2018.
Miss Grand International also known as Miss Grand is an international beauty pageant franchise that was based in Thailand. It consists of the annual national pageant Miss Grand Thailand, as well as the international competition Miss Grand International, to which participating rights are licensed to organizers in other countries. The franchise has been owned and run by a Thai stock exchange-listed company with the same name, also known as MGI PCL, since its inception in 2013, with Nawat Itsaragrisil as the president.

Miss Grand Brazil is an annual female beauty pageant in Brazil, founded in 2014 by a São Paulo-based event organizer Gerson Antonelli, to select the country's representatives to compete in its parent international contest, Miss Grand International. From 2015 to 2023, the pageant was managed by Concurso Nacional de Beleza Miss Brasil, led by Henrique Fontes. Then the franchise was transferred to former Miss Universe Brazil organizer, Evandro Hazzy of Hazzy Top Talent, in 2024.
Miss Grand South Africa is an annual female beauty pageant in South Africa founded in 2015 by Commonwealth Pageant South Africa, led by Anel de Swardt, aiming to select the country representative to compete in its parent contest Miss Grand International. The license was transferred to Zee World in 2016, and later to Maggy-Dee Productions, led by Miss Grand South Africa 2015 "Lenie Pieterse" who currently owns and runs the contest since 2017.
Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Vietnam beauty pageant. It was held on 1 October 2022 in Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City, Đoàn Thiên Ân of Long An was crowned the first ever Miss Grand Vietnam at the end of the event. She represented the country at Miss Grand International 2022, placing in the top 20.
Miss Grand Ghana is a Ghanaian female beauty pageant, founded in 2020 by Accra-based pageant organizer Legacy Pageants Limited, chaired by Sandy Amissah. The winners of the contest represent the country at its parent international stage, Miss Grand International, while the rest of its finalists are sent to compete on other international platforms. In 2022, the license of Miss Grand Ghana was taken over by Abena Appiah, a former Miss Grand International, who has owned and run the contest annually since then.
Miss Grand Honduras is a national beauty pageant in Honduras, founded in 2022 by a chairperson of AV Productions, Amelia Vega. The winner represents the country at its parent contest Miss Grand International. Previously in 2013 to 2015, the license belonged to the Miss Honduras organization.
Miss Grand United States 2017 was the second edition of the Miss Grand United States pageant, held on July 25, 2017, at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia, Symphony Space, New York City. Contestants from seventeen U.S. states competed for the title, of whom the representative of California, Taylor Kessler, was announced the winner. She then represented the United States at Miss Grand International 2017 in Vietnam, but did not qualify to the top 10 finalists.
Miss Grand Namibia was a Namibian female beauty pageant founded in 2015 by Magnolia Kuhanga, the chairperson of the Windhoek-based organizer, Magnolia Events Management. The pageant was declared defunct in late 2018 after the incorporation between the aforementioned national organizer and Miss Grand International Limited was not extended and no other domestic organizer was interested in the license. Originally, the winners of the contest, which was held three times—in 2015, 2016, and 2018—were expected to represent Namibia on its international parent platform, Miss Grand International. However, all three winners withdrew from the international pageant for unspecified reasons; only one of them was replaced by an appointed representative.
Miss Grand Nigeria was a Nigerian female beauty pageant founded in 2015 by a Lagos-based event organizer chaired by Loveth Ajufoh, QLA Nigeria. The winners of the contest, which was held individually twice, represented Nigeria at its parent competition, Miss Grand International. Previously, the contest's license belonged to AMC Productions, the organizer of the Miss Earth Nigeria pageant, before being transferred to QLA Nigeria Limited, 001 Entertainment – the organizer of The Nigerian Queen, and the Qhue Group. in 2015, 2020, and 2023, respectively.
Miss Grand United Kingdom is a female beauty pageant in the United Kingdom, founded in 2015 by a Lancashire-based pageant organizer, Pageant Girls UK, chaired by Holly Louise, who was also the UK license holder for various other international pageants such as Miss Earth, Miss International and Miss Intercontinental. The winners of the contest, which usually comprises three or four titles, including Miss Grand England, Miss Grand Wales, Miss Grand Scotland, and Miss Grand Northern Ireland, represent their countries in the international parent contest, Miss Grand International. However, as the former licensee was unable to send the elected delegates to compete in the 2019 international contest in Venezuela, the competition license was transferred to Megan Darlington in 2020, and subsequently to Kathryn Fanshawe in mid-2022.
Miss Grand Haiti is a national title given to a woman chosen to represent Haiti at Miss Grand International. The title was first mentioned in 2013, when Miss Teen Haiti, Cassandre Paul, was appointed to compete at the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand International in Thailand; however, Paul withdrew for undisclosed reasons. Later in 2014, a New York-resident Haitian American, Lisa Drouillard, dominated herself as the Haitian contestant at the Miss Grand International 2014, and she was placed among the top 10 finalists, which is considered the only placement, to date, for Haiti at such a contest.
Miss Grand Belarus is a national beauty pageant title awarded to Belarusian representatives competing at the Miss Grand International pageant. The title was first mentioned in 2013 when a Moscow-based model, Veronika Chachyna, was announced as the Belarusian candidate to compete at the inaugural edition of the mentioned international pageant in Thailand. Nevertheless, Chachyna withdrew from the competition.
Miss Grand South Sudan is a national beauty pageant title awarded to women selected to represent South Sudan at the Miss Grand International pageant. The title was first awarded in 2014 on the stage of Beauties of South Sudan (B.O.S.S.) which was a national pageant held by former Miss World South Sudan, Atong Demach. However, the first titleholder, Akan William, did not compete internationally due to her university study issues. The partnership between the B.O.S.S. and the Miss Grand International firm was terminated in 2018; since then, to date, no South Sudanese representatives have additionally been sent to compete.
Miss Grand Malta is a national beauty pageant title awarded to Maltese representatives chosen to compete at the Miss Grand International pageant. The title was first awarded in 2014 to Dajana Laketic, the winner of the Face of Malta 2014 pageant, who was assigned by Alan J Darmanin's event organizer, Glow Promotions, to join the Miss Grand International 2014 contest in Thailand. The other two following representatives were also appointed by the mentioned organizer but from different national pageants.
Miss Grand Taiwan is a national beauty pageant title awarded to Taiwan representatives competing at the Miss Grand International contest. The title was first awarded in 2014 to a Taipei-based model, Chen Szu Yu (陳思妤), who then competed internationally at the parent stage held in Thailand, but was unplaced. The following titleholders were all appointed; no national pageant was organized.
Miss Grand New Zealand is a national female beauty pageant title awarded to New Zealand representatives competing in the Miss Grand International pageant. The first titleholder was Rachel Hope Crofts, who previously won the Miss Model of the World New Zealand in the Miss World New Zealand 2013 pageant. Rachel represented New Zealand in the first Miss Grand International in Thailand but was unplaced.
