Miss Grand United States 2019 was the third edition of the Miss Grand USA pageant, held on August 11, 2019 at Lincolnshire Marriott Resort, Lake County, Illinois. [1] [2] Contestants from twenty-eight U.S. states competed for the title, [1] of whom the representative of Nevada, Emily Irene Delgado, was named the winner. [3] [4] She then represented the United States at Miss Grand International 2019 in Venezuela on 25 October, [3] [5] [6] but got a non-placement. [7]

Miss Universe is an annual international major beauty pageant that is run by a Thailand and Mexican-based Miss Universe Organization. Along with Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth, it is one of the Big Four beauty pageants.
Miss USA is an American beauty pageant that has been held annually since 1952 to select the entrant from United States in the Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe Organization operated both pageants, as well as Miss Teen USA, until 2020, when the organization announced it was licensing operation of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants to Crystle Stewart, Miss USA for 2008 prior to her suspension in October 2022, thus returning the said pageants to the Miss Universe Organization. Branch represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant and placed in the Top 21.

Evelyn Abena Akuaba Appiah is a Ghanaian–American singer, model and beauty queen who was crowned Queen Beauty Universe 2016 and Miss Grand International 2020. She was appointed as Miss Grand USA and became the first Black woman to win the Miss Grand International crown. She previously represented Ghana in two of the Big Four international beauty pageants but lost in Miss Universe 2014 and Miss Earth 2019.

Thirteen national delegates competed for the title, of whom the representative of New York, Michelle Leon, was announced the winner. She then represented the country at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant in Las Vegas, and was named the fourth runner-up.

Contestants from seventeen U.S. states competed for the title, of whom the representative of California, Taylor Kessler, was announced the winner. She then represented the United States at Miss Grand International 2017 in Vietnam, but did not qualify to the top 10 finalists.

Eighteen state representatives, either chosen through state pageants or national online casting, competed for the title, of whom the representative from North Carolina, Madison Callaghan, was announced the winner. She later represented the United States at Miss Grand International 2021 in Bangkok, Thailand, but got a non-placement.

Twelve candidates chosen through state pageant or national casting competed for the title, of whom the representative of Colorado, Emily DeMure, was announced the winner. She then represented the country in the Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia, but got a non-placement.
Miss Grand Florida is a state-level female beauty pageant based in Florida, founded by Suzi Hosfeld in 2014. It is one of the preliminary stages for the Miss Grand USA national pageant. Since 2019, the competition license has belonged to a Miami-based event organizer, Golden Crown Productions, led by Haitian American nurse practitioner and radio personality, Jennifer Lovelace.
