Miss Grand Australia 2023 was the seventh edition of the Miss Grand Australia pageant, held on July 15, 2023, [1] [2] [3] at the RACV City Club located in the capital of Victoria state, Greater Melbourne. [3] [4] Thirty candidates, who have qualified for the national pageant through an online profile screening performed from February to March, competed for the title, and a 28-year-old ADHDer and disability support worker from Victoria, Mikaela-Rose Fowler, was announced the winner. [1] [2] [5] Her court consisted of four runners-up including Paitin Louise Powell 1st runner-up, Brooke Murray 2nd runner-up, Selina McCloskey 3rd runner-up, and Alecia McCallum 4th runner-up. Fowler will later represent the country at the parent international stage, Miss Grand International 2023, to be held in Vietnam on October 25. [6] [7]

In cooperation with Destiny Rescue, the pageant also ran as a charity event on June 4 at the Tide On The Jetty Manly in the city of Brisbane to raise funds available for rescuing children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking. [4] [8] [9]

This edition was the first Miss Grand Australia contest managed by Amber Sidney after she took over the license from a former licensee, Dani Fitch, [10] [11] who served as the national director of the contest from 2017 to 2022. [10] [12]

Meanwhile, Amelia Conway, Sophie Grosser, Maddison Clare, and Alana Thomas, were named runners-up. Kassandra later represented the country at the parent international contest, Miss Grand International 2017, in Vietnam on October 25, and was placed among the top 20 finalists.

Miss Grand and Miss Supranational Australia 2016 was an Australian beauty contest held to determine the country representatives for the Miss Grand International 2016 and Miss Supranational 2016 pageants. The event was held on 14 August 2016, at the Playhouse Theatre located in the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Sydney. Eighteen candidates from different states and territories competed for the title, and a 27-year-old Pharmacist based in New South Wales, Dani Fitch, was named Miss Grand Australia 2016, while Silka Kurzak of Queensland was elected Miss Supranational Australia 2016.

Miss Grand Denmark is a national beauty pageant title awarded to Danish representatives competing at the Miss Grand International pageant. The title was first awarded in 2013, when the director of Miss Queen of Scandinavia (MQOS), Peter Hadward, assigned the finalist of Danmarks Næste Topmodel Season 2, Natasja Smith, to represent Denmark at the inaugural edition of the mentioned international contest in Thailand; however, Smith withdrew before reaching the final round of the contest, health issues were claimed.

Miss Grand International 2017 was the fifth edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, held on October 25, 2017 at the Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort and Villas Convention Hall, Phú Quốc, Vietnam. Contestants from seventy-seven countries and territories competed for the title, of whom María José Lora of Peru was announced the winner and was crowned by Miss Grand International 2016, Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia, while the representatives of the Czech Republic, Philippines, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela were named the runners-up.
