Forbes is a neighbourhood in Rideau-Rockcliffe Ward in the east end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. [1]
It is defined by the city as being bounded on the North by Montreal Road, on the east by the Aviation Parkway, on the west and south by the former municipal boundary of the city, and on the southwest by McArthur Avenue. [2] However, the area west of St. Laurent Boulevard is part of the Overbrook Community Association, [3] and most maps show Forbes as being east of St. Laurent. The total population of the neighbourhood (east of St. Laurent) was 2,918 according to the Canada 2016 Census. [4]
Much of the neighbourhood was built in the 1950s and 1960s. [5] [6]
The neighbourhood is home to Helen Redpath Thompson Park, Trojan Park and Forbes Park as well as the former Rideau High School.
Riverview is a neighbourhood in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is southeast of the downtown adjacent to the Rideau River, its location on which is its namesake. The 2021 Census population of Riverview is 13,113.

It is located across the Rideau River from the neighbourhood of Sandy Hill and is just to the south of Vanier. To the east of Overbrook is the former City of Gloucester. It was constituted as a police village in 1922 and was annexed by the City of Ottawa in 1950.
Lincoln Heights is a neighbourhood in the Britannia area of Bay Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is defined by its community association as being bounded to the south by the north side of Regina Lane, to the north by the Ottawa River, to the west by the east side of Croydon Avenue, and to the east by the Ottawa River Parkway. According to the Canada 2016 Census, the population of the neighbourhood is 1,630. The greater Lincoln Heights area can be defined as extending as far west as Greenview Avenue and as far south as Carling Avenue, which overlaps with neighbouring Britannia Village.

Centretown is a neighbourhood in Somerset Ward, in central Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is defined by the city as "the area bounded on the north by Gloucester Street and Lisgar Street, on the east by the Rideau Canal, on the south by the Queensway freeway and on the west by Bronson Avenue." Traditionally it was all of Ottawa west of the Rideau Canal, while Lower Town was everything to the east. For certain purposes, such as the census and real estate listings, the Golden Triangle and/or Downtown Ottawa is included in Centretown and it is considered part of Centretown by the Centretown Citizens Community Association as well as being used in this way in casual conversation.
Eastway Gardens is a small neighbourhood in Alta Vista Ward in the east end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It consists of a series of dead end streets coming off of Tremblay Road between Riverside Drive and St. Laurent Boulevard. Most of these streets are named for letters of the alphabet, beginning with Avenue K and ending with Avenue U. According to the Canada 2016 Census, the neighbourhood had a population of 602. The residents association boundaries for the neighbourhood are the Rideau River to the west, St. Laurent Boulevard to the east, Coventry Road to the north, and Belfast Road to the south.
