Lamokin Street is a former regional rail station that was located on the SEPTA Regional Rail Wilmington/Newark Line at Lamokin Street in Chester, Pennsylvania. Until 1972, it was the junction for the Chester Creek Branch, controlled by nearby Lamokin Tower. The branch line was operated by the Pennsylvania Railroad and later Penn Central, until service ended in 1972 due to damage caused by Hurricane Agnes.
The station was classified as a flag stop, which required passengers to tell the train crew that they wanted to board or depart prior to arrival. It was closed on July 1, 2003 due to its low ridership of just 36 passengers per day. [1] [2]
The former site is adjacent to an electrical substation that provides power to both Amtrak's Northeast Corridor and SEPTA's Media/Wawa lines. Highland Avenue and Chester Transportation Center stations nearby are still served by SEPTA.

Wilmington station, also known as the Joseph R. Biden, Jr., Railroad Station, is a passenger rail station in Wilmington, Delaware. It serves nine Amtrak train routes and is part of the Northeast Corridor. It also serves SEPTA Regional Rail commuter trains on the Wilmington/Newark Line as well as DART First State local buses and Greyhound Lines intercity buses.

Norwood station is a SEPTA train station on the Wilmington/Newark Line. While on tracks owned by the company, Amtrak trains do not stop here, as it is served only by SEPTA. The line offers southbound service to Marcus Hook, Wilmington and Newark, Delaware and northbound service to Philadelphia and points beyond. The station, located at Winona & Welcome Avenues in Norwood, Pennsylvania, includes a 62-space parking lot on its outbound platform side. Pedestrian walkways and staircases connect the inbound and outbound platforms via the Amosland Road Bridge, which overpasses the tracks. Opposite the tracks from the SEPTA designated parking lot is metered street and lot parking.
Ridley Park station is a station along the Northeast Corridor. Amtrak does not stop here; only SEPTA's Wilmington/Newark Line trains serve this station. It is located at Hinckley & Morton Avenues in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, and contains a one-story station house similar to that of Media Regional Rail station built into the embankment next to a platform, as well as a passenger drop-off area at Hinckley Avenue and Lincoln Street. Another platform also exists on the opposite side of the tracks on Ridley & Morton Avenues. Access between the two platforms is available from the nearby Ward Street Bridge just west of the station.
Highland Avenue station is a station along the SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line and Amtrak's Northeast Corridor, one of two stations in Chester, Pennsylvania, United States. Amtrak trains do not stop there; it is only served by SEPTA. The line offers southbound service to Wilmington and Newark, Delaware and northbound service to Philadelphia. The station is located on Highland Avenue and 6th Street in Chester, PA.
Marcus Hook station is a station along the SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line and Amtrak's Northeast Corridor in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania. Amtrak does not stop here; the station is only served by SEPTA. Many locals continue on to Wilmington and Newark. However, some trains terminate at this station. Located at 12th & Washington Streets, the station has a 147-space parking lot. The line offers southbound service to Wilmington and Newark, Delaware and northbound service to Philadelphia.
The West Chester Branch is a railway line in southeastern Pennsylvania. At its fullest extent, it connected with the Philadelphia–Washington Main Line at Arsenal Junction near the University of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia-Chicago Main Line near Frazer, Pennsylvania. It was part of the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) system up until the formation of Conrail in 1976. Today, SEPTA operates the Media/Wawa Line commuter service as far west as Wawa, while the West Chester Railroad heritage railway operates between West Chester station and Glen Mills.
East Penn Railroad is a short-line railroad that operates a number of mostly-unconnected lines in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Except for two industrial park switching operations, all are former Pennsylvania Railroad or Reading Company lines, abandoned or sold by Conrail or its predecessors.
Lenni station is a defunct commuter rail station on the SEPTA Regional Rail R3 West Chester Line, located in Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The station and several others were closed in September 1986, and subsequently demolished.
Wawa station is a commuter rail station on the SEPTA Regional Rail Media/Wawa Line, located adjacent to U.S. Route 1 in Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The original station was built by the West Chester and Philadelphia Railroad and later served the Pennsylvania Railroad's West Chester Branch, which finally became SEPTA's R3 line. The outer section of the line, running from Elwyn to West Chester including the old Wawa station, was closed in 1986.
Lamokin Tower was a closed interlocking tower of the Pennsylvania Railroad in Chester, Pennsylvania. It was located along the northwest corner of the Lloyd Street Bridge over the Amtrak Northeast Corridor and SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line. The tower suffered from serious neglect after its closure and was demolished in 2017 along with the adjacent Lloyd Street Bridge.
The Warminster Line is a route of the SEPTA Regional Rail commuter rail system. It serves stations between its namesake town, Warminster, and Center City Philadelphia. Half of the route is shared by other lines, including the Lansdale/Doylestown Line, West Trenton Line, Fox Chase Line, Chestnut Hill East Line, and Manayunk/Norristown Line. All trains continue as part of the Airport Line with the exception of some weekday trains that terminate at 30th Street Station, Thorndale, or Trenton Transit Center.
The West Trenton Line is a SEPTA Regional Rail service connecting Center City Philadelphia to the West Trenton section of Ewing Township, New Jersey.
The Media/Wawa Line is a SEPTA Regional Rail service that runs from Center City Philadelphia west to Wawa in Delaware County. It uses the West Chester Branch, which connects with the SEPTA Main Line at 30th Street Station. Under the Pennsylvania Railroad, service continued to West Chester, Pennsylvania. On September 19, 1986, however, service was truncated to Elwyn.
The Manayunk/Norristown Line is a commuter rail service in Southeastern Pennsylvania between Center City Philadelphia and Norristown, and one of the 13 lines in SEPTA's Regional Rail network. It has the second highest operating ratio (19.9%) on the SEPTA Regional Rail network.
