Viasat 3D was the first Swedish 3D TV channel and was launched on 27 December 2010. The channel was available to satellite subscribers through Viasat's digital on-demand set-top box and featured live football matches from UEFA Champions League, as well as streamed 3D video on demand movie content. History

Viasat started to offer 3D TV content as of December 2010, rolling out its full linear 3D TV channel in August 2012. It was announced that Viasat would close its dedicated TV channel as of 15 January 2014 due to low interest from the viewers, but said 3D content would be available as on-demand service. [3]

ZTV

ZTV was a Swedish television channel owned by Viasat. Launched in February 1991, as a daily afternoon show on TV3 and TV4, it became a channel of its own on Swedish cable networks in May 1992. The intention was to create a Swedish version of MTV and thus the focus was primarily on music. Since May 2006, most of its programming composed of music videos. ZTV's last day was August 1, 2010 for all customers except for Boxer and Com Hem, who continued to distribute the channel indefinitely in a limited version. Viasat was a satellite and pay television brand, co-owned by the Swedish media group Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT) in the Nordic countries, Sony Pictures Television in Hungary, and by Viasat World internationally. Founded in Sweden in 1991, Viasat has previously been owned by Modern Times Group. The channels of both companies were broadcast from London.

V Film is a group of premium movie channels broadcasting in the Nordic countries owned by Nordic Entertainment Group.

TV6 (Sweden)

TV6 is a Swedish television channel broadcasting owned by Nordic Entertainment Group. It has origins in the youth channel ZTV that started broadcasting in the early 1990s. In 2004, MTG started repositioning the channel by introducing sports broadcasts and other programming that mainly targeted men.

TV3 is a Swedish pay television channel owned by Nordic Entertainment Group. It was launched on 31 December 1987 by businessman Jan Stenbeck.

V Sport is the common brand of several sports channels targeting the Nordic countries, owned by Nordic Entertainment Group. The brand has been introduced in June 2020, replacing the former brands Viasat Sport and Viasport. Its main competitors are C More Sport and Eurosport.

TV8 (Swedish TV channel)

TV8 is a television channel owned by Nordic Entertainment Group broadcasting to Sweden. It focuses on current affairs, documentaries and drama. The channel was started by the private equity firm Ratos in 1997 and was sold to MTG in 1999.

Digital terrestrial television was launched in Sweden in 1999. The shutdown of the analogue equivalent started on September 19, 2005, and was finalized on October 15, 2007.

TV3 Sport

TV3 Sport is a Danish sports television channel, owned by Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT) and operated by TV3 SPORT. The channel originally broadcast as TV 2 SPORT and was a joint-venture between TV 2 and Modern Times Group.

Telia Digital TV is an IPTV distribution platform in Sweden owned by Telia Company. It was launched in January 2005 from a few locations.

V Sport is a group of Swedish sports channels owned by Nordic Entertainment Group, broadcasting from the United Kingdom and constituting a part of the pan-Nordic V Sport offering. The Swedish V Sport channels except V Sport Motor and V Sport Extra are also distributed in Finland.

TV3 Sport (Baltics)

TV3 Sport is a TV sports channel available in the Baltic States. The channel was launched 7 January 2009 as Viasat Sport Baltic. Along with Viasat Golf it replaced Viasat Sport 2 and Viasat Sport 3 for viewers on the Viasat platform in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Turner Classic Movies was a television channel broadcasting "classic" films from the 1940s to the 1990s to Denmark, Finland, Flanders, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. The channel used English audio with optional subtitles in Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish. The channel was commercial-free and films were not interrupted.
