Lumezi District is a district of Eastern Province, Zambia. [1] [2] It was made independent from Lundazi District in 2018. [3] [4]
Tumbuka is the predominant language spoken in the district about 99.9%.[ citation needed ]

Chishimba Kambwili is a former member of the National Assembly of Zambia for Roan Constituency in Luanshya District. He has also held several posts in the cabinet. He is the former leader of the National Democratic Congress.
Muchinga Province is one of the ten provinces of Zambia.
