Senga District is a district of Northern Province, Zambia. [1] [2] It was separated from Mbala District in 2016. [3] As of the 2022 Zambian Census, the district had a population of 126,308 people. [4]
The district is situated in the tropics, with an average elevation of 1,500 meters above sea level. The climate is similar to a Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild, temperate conditions. The area receives an annual average rainfall of approximately 1,240 mm, with the rainy season lasting from November to April. The district also has vast expanses of undeveloped land, offering significant potential for farm block development. [5]
Woodland Park is a home rule municipality in Teller County, Colorado, United States. Woodland Park is part of the Colorado Springs, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. Many residents in this bedroom community commute to Colorado Springs. Woodland Park is surrounded by the 1,000,000-acre (400,000 ha) Pike National Forest. Port Augusta is a small coastal city in South Australia about 310 kilometres (190 mi) by road from the state capital, Adelaide. Chikodi has many district level offices but it is not designated as a district by the Government of Karnataka. Pattukkottai is a major town in Thanjavur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and also important town in Delta districts and Commercial town of Thanjavur, Thiruvarur and Pudukkottai district Coastal areas. The town came to prominence throughout Southern India after the construction of the fort by Vanaji Pandithar, a feudatory of the Thanjavur Maratha ruler Shahuji I in 1686–87. The recorded history of Pattukkottai is known from the 17th century and has been ruled, at different times, by the Thanjavur Marathas and the British. It is the headquarters of the Pattukkottai taluk of Thanjavur district and is one of the two municipalities in the district.
