Game Insight developed the first hidden object game for Facebook, Mystery Manor. Game Insight's portfolio includes more than 45 free-to-play games, including mobile games for Google Play, App Store, Windows Store, Amazon AppStore, and games for social networks, such as Facebook, localized in 10 languages and played in 218 countries of the world. The Company employs more than 500 people worldwide.

Kairosoft is a Japanese video game developer located in Tokyo, Japan that has created a number of simulation games for cell phones, PCs and Nintendo Switch. Founded in 1996, the company has developed a number of mobile games for the Japanese market and has found great success in porting them to the modern iOS and Android operating systems. The company was ranked 30th in Pocket Gamer's "top 50 developers of 2012" list.

Video games in Ukraine began to emerge in the 1990s, with the appearance of the first studios. Subsequently, in the 2000-2010 in Ukraine there were several well-known video game series. Although the video game industry in Ukraine is only developing, video gaming is becoming more and more popular in the country.

<i>BlazBlue</i> Fighting game series

BlazBlue is a fighting video game series developed and published in Japan by Arc System Works, and later localized in North America by Aksys Games and in Europe by Zen United. An anime adaptation aired in Autumn 2013. The series has sold 1.7 million copies since August 2012.

Fireproof Studios Ltd is a British video game art studio based in Guildford, England, and founded in September 2008. Fireproof Games, a division of the company, acts as video game developer. The company is best known for its The Room series of puzzle video games, of which the first, The Room (2012), was named "Best British Game" at the 2013 British Academy Games Awards, and sold over two million copies as of May 2013.

<i>Chaos Rings</i> Role playing video game

Chaos Rings is a role-playing video game series released primarily on mobile platforms. It is developed by Media.Vision and published by Square Enix. The eponymous first game in the series was released for iOS in 2010, then later ported to other mobile and portable platforms including Android and PlayStation Vita. There are currently four games in the Chaos Rings series, and each uses the same gameplay base. Effective May 31, 2016, Square Enix ended distribution of the first three games in the series on Google Play and Apple's App Store, leaving Chaos Rings III as the only title still available for download or purchase on those markets. Currently, all titles in the series, except Chaos Rings III, are still available for purchase and download on Amazon's App Store.

<i>RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic</i> 2016 video game

RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is a construction and management simulation video game developed by Origin8 Technologies and published by Atari. The game's initial release is a port of both RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 combined into a single game. Both games were amusement park management simulators created by Chris Sawyer for the PC. RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic was released for Android and iOS in December 2016 and for Microsoft Windows and macOS in September 2017.

In the video game industry, 2021 saw the release of many new titles. The numerous delays in software and hardware releases due to the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic heavily impacted development schedules, leading to several games being delayed into 2022 or even postponed indefinitely. Additionally, computer and console hardware were impacted by the combined effects of a semiconductor shortage and a rising growth of bitcoin mining that strained the supply of critical components.

Kolibri Games GmbH is a German mobile games company based in Berlin, Germany. It was founded in 2016 by Daniel Stammler, Janosch Sadowski, Tim Reiter, Oliver Löffler and Sebastian Karasek as Fluffy Fairy Games. The company develops idle games for mobile devices and gained international recognition with their game Idle Miner Tycoon that has been downloaded over 100 million times. Ubisoft acquired a 75% majority share of Kolibri Games in February 2020 with a company valuation of €160 Million.
