Radburn is a New Jersey Transit train station in the Dutch Colonial Revival style, served by the Bergen County Line. It is on Fair Lawn Avenue in the Radburn section of Fair Lawn, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. It is one of two New Jersey Transit train stations in Fair Lawn, the other being Broadway.
The station was designed and built in 1929 by Clarence Stein, as part of the Radburn development. It has been listed in the state and federal Registers of Historic Places since 1984 and is part of the Operating Passenger Railroad Stations Thematic Resource. [7] [8] [9] [10]
The location of the Radburn development was considered beneficial because of its location on the Erie Railroad with connections to Jersey City, Newark and Manhattan. The designers of the development saw the benefit of a suburban railroad station for planning throughout the New York Metropolitan Area. In July 1928, they proposed the Fairlawn Station Square with a depot that cost $60,000 (1928 USD) and would serve those who would be in the neighborhood after construction of the first 200 homers. The new depot would serve Suffern to the north and Hoboken to the southeast along with connections in the area. [11]
A new railroad depot was constructed on the Bergen County Railroad in 1929. The depot replaced a wooden freight depot that served the area. This new station was designed by Clarence Stein in a Dutch Colonial Revival to keep the idea of modern and efficient and in a similar style of the Radburn neighborhood. The new Radburn station had three sections: a central area that contained the 640-foot (200 m) waiting room and ticket office. This new pavilion contained a sloping and overhanging roof. This south wing of the depot contained the restrooms, and the north wing contained the office of the track supervisor, the baggage room and a porch for customers. The depot had a sandstone design with 14-foot (4.3 m) vaulted ceilings with a slate roof and clapboarding siding. [11]
The station has two tracks, each with a low-level side platform. It is staffed with a station agent on weekday mornings.[ citation needed ]

As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 34,927, an increase of 2,470 (+7.6%) from the 2010 census count of 32,457, which in turn reflected an increase of 820 (+2.6%) from the 31,637 counted in the 2000 census.

The Bergen County Line is a commuter rail line and service owned and operated by New Jersey Transit in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The line loops off the Main Line between the Meadowlands and Glen Rock, with trains continuing in either direction along the Main Line. It is colored on NJT system maps in grey, and its symbol is a cattail, which are commonly found in the Meadowlands where the line runs.
Oradell is a grade-level commuter rail station for New Jersey Transit in the borough of Oradell, Bergen County, New Jersey. Located at the intersection of Oradell Avenue and Maple Avenue, the station serves trains on the Pascack Valley Line.
Westwood is an NJ Transit railroad station in Westwood, New Jersey. It is on the Pascack Valley Line and is located at Broadway and Westwood Avenue. The next station northbound, heading toward Spring Valley, New York, is Hillsdale. The next station southbound, headed for Hoboken Terminal, is Emerson. The station consists of one track, one low-level platform with a miniature high-level platform and a station depot maintained by the borough of Westwood. Westwood also maintains the parking lots, consisting of 226 parking spaces, six of which are accessible based on the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990.
Hillsdale is an active commuter railroad station in the borough of Hillsdale, Bergen County, New Jersey. Servicing trains on New Jersey Transit's Pascack Valley Line, the station is located at the intersection of Broadway and Hillsdale Avenue. The next station to the north toward Spring Valley station is Woodcliff Lake and the next station to the south toward Hoboken Terminal is Westwood. The station contains one track while a single low-level side platform next to the station depot, resulting in no accessibility for handicapped persons under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Park Ridge is an active commuter railroad station in the borough of Park Ridge, Bergen County, New Jersey. Located at the intersection of Park and Hawthorne Avenues, the station services trains on the Pascack Valley Line, which runs from Hoboken Terminal to Spring Valley station in New York. The station contains a single low-level side platform split by Park Avenue and a wooden station depot, built by the Hackensack and New York Extension Railroad. As a result, Park Ridge station is not handicap accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Brick Church is an active commuter railroad station in the city of East Orange, Essex County, New Jersey. The station, one of two in East Orange, is located a block away from the former site of the Brick Presbyterian Church, for which the neighborhood takes its name, designed with brick romanesque architecture. The other station, located 0.6 miles (0.97 km) to the east, is the namesake East Orange stop. Trains from the station head east on New Jersey Transit's Morristown Line and Gladstone Branch to New York Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal while westbound trains service stops out to Gladstone and Hackettstown. Like its sister station, Brick Church contains three tracks and two platforms. However, it is not accessible for the handicapped.

One of two stops in the city, it is served by New Jersey Transit's Morris and Essex Lines: the Morristown Line to Hackettstown and the Gladstone Branch to Gladstone for trains from New York Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal. Orange station contains two low-level side platforms and three tracks.
Denville is an active commuter railroad train station in Denville Township, Morris County, New Jersey. Located on Estling Road, the station contains three side platforms–two curved low-level platforms that service New Jersey Transit's Morristown Line, and a third that services their Montclair-Boonton Line. Both platforms on the Morristown Line contain miniature high-level platforms for handicap accessibility. Trains on both lines operate between Hoboken Terminal, New York Penn Station and Hackettstown. Heading westbound, the next station is Dover while the next station east on the Morristown Line is Mount Tabor. The next station east on the Montclair-Boonton Line is Mountain Lakes.
Dover is an active commuter railroad train station in the town of Dover, Morris County, New Jersey. Located at the end of electric service, Dover station serves as a secondary terminal of NJ Transit's Morristown and Montclair-Boonton Lines. Non-electric service continues west to Hackettstown on both lines. The next station to the west is Mount Arlington while the next station to the east is Denville. Dover station consists of a single island platform, accessible for the handicapped.
