Gianfranco Fantuzzi (born 6 November 1959) is an Italian engineer and team manager of the Scuderia Toro Rosso Formula 1 team.
Fantuzzi raced in karting in his youth, but stopped driving when it turned out that he was too slow. Fantuzzi has always preferred what goes on behind the scenes of racing rather than the racing itself. At the age of 16 as a mechanic he joined Scuderia Ferrari in Formula 1, worked there for 22 years, most of that time as a research and racing team engineer. He also left work around this time to move to the United States and participate in the IMSA program. From 1998 to 2001 he worked as a racing engineer at Minardi. He moved to Toyota, where he worked as a logistics manager. In 2006, he started working as general manager at Scuderia Toro Rosso, and in 2009 he was promoted to the position of team manager.
