Google Attribution is a free and easy-to-use tool developed by Alphabet Inc. in 2017 to help marketers evaluate the impact of various marketing tactics on customers' buying decisions [1] [2]

The tool aims to serve as a central hub for assessing marketing campaigns across different devices and promotional channels, providing marketers with a more comprehensive view of their marketing efforts.

Google Attribution offers a unified, data-driven attribution model that can be consistently applied across Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Attribution tool itself. This allows users to easily switch between attribution models and apply them consistently to their data. The tool links with a Google Analytics view associated with a registered Google Ads or Google Marketing Platform account [1]
