National Highway 148B (NH 148B) starts at Kotputli, state of Rajasthan and ends at Bathinda, state of Punjab. The major towns are in succession of distance on this highway: Narnaul, Mahendergarh, Charkhi Dadri, Bhiwani, Hansi, Barwala, Bhimewala Tohana, Moonak, Jakhal, Bareta, Budhlada, Bhikhi, Mansa and Maur. This highway meets with National Highway 54 at Bathinda. The highway is 427 km (265 mi) long and runs all within the states of Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan. [1] [2]

National Highway 703 is a National Highway in Northern India. NH 703 connects Jalandar in Punjab, Sirsa in Haryana and Churu in Rajasthan, running a distance of 342 km (213 mi). National Highway 703 starts at the junction of NH 3 at Jalandar and traverses down to Churu to meet NH 52.

National Highway 709 starts from Rajgarh and ends at Panipat, Rajgarh is in the state of Rajasthan. Rohtak, Bhiwani and Pilani are the major towns in between on this highway route. This highways meets with National Highway 1(Delhi to Amritsar) at Panipat Bypass. Hisar Junction railway station is an A-category railway station, under the Bikaner railway division of North Western Railway zone of Indian Railways, located at Hisar city in Hisar district of Haryana state of India. The station consists of 6 platforms, with 6 broad-gauge mostly electrified tracks of Bathinda–Rewari line and Jakhal–Hisar–Sadalpur line, going in 4 directions at an average speed of 120 km/h. Hisar is one of the 400 stations to be redeveloped with international and private partners for modernization on international standards and optimizing the commercial opportunities.

Western Yamuna Canal is canal in river Yamuna that was dug out and renovated in 1335 CE by Firoz Shah Tughlaq. In 1750 CE, excessive silting caused it to stop flowing. The British raj undertook a three-year renovation in 1817 by Captain GR Blane of the Bengal Engineer Group. In 1832-33 Tajewala Barrage dam at Yamunanagar was also built to regulate the flow of water, and later Pathrala barrage at Dadupur,Yamuna Nagar and Somb river dam downstream of canal were constructed in 1875-76. In 1889-95 the largest branch of the canal Sirsa branch was constructed. The modern Hathni Kund Barrage was built in 1999 to handle the problem of silting to replace the older Tajewala Barrage.

The Trans-Haryana Expressway or the Ambala–Narnaul Expressway (NH-152D) is a 227-km long, 6-lane wide greenfield access-controlled expressway, connecting the cities of Ambala and Narnaul in the state of Haryana. The expressway connects Gangheri village in Kurukshetra district with Surana village on Narnaul Bypass (NH-148B) in Mahendragarh district. It passes via Kaul, Pundri, Pillu khera, Julana, Kalanaur, Charkhi Dadri and Kanina. It will reduce the distance from Chandigarh to Delhi, Narnaul, and Jaipur, thus decongesting NH-44 and NH-48.
