The Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer, commonly known as the 808, is a drum machine manufactured by Roland Corporation between 1980 and 1983. It was one of the first drum machines to allow users to program rhythms instead of using preset patterns. Unlike its nearest competitor at the time, the more expensive Linn LM-1, the 808 generates sounds using analog synthesis rather than by playing samples.

Ghetto house or booty house is a subgenre of house music which started being recognized as a distinct style from around 1992 onwards. It features minimal 808 and 909 drum machine-driven tracks and sometimes sexually explicit lyrics.

Glades Road is an 11.115-mile (17.888 km) long east–west arterial boulevard in southern Palm Beach County, Florida. The majority of the road is signed as State Road 808, but the westernmost 3.5 miles (5.63 km) is designated as County Road 808. SR 808 begins at an intersection with US 441–SR 7 in what was formerly Mission Bay (but is now unincorporated Boca Raton; its eastern terminus is an intersection with Federal Highway in Boca Raton. The county-maintained segment proceeds west from US 441 / SR 7 and bends south to end at the western terminus of Palmetto Park Road.

State Highway 102 (SH 102) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Texas maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The highway begins at the New Mexico state line near Sedan, New Mexico as a continuation of New Mexico State Road 421 ending at U.S. Route 87 near Dalhart. SH 102 is located in southwestern and south central Dallam County and does not pass through any cities or towns. The highway was first designated in 1948 as a Farm to Market Road before eventually being upgraded to its current highway designation.

The Northern Ontario Resource Trail (NORT) is the designation of two mainly gravel roads in the Canadian province of Ontario. One road travels north from Pickle Lake to the northern shore of Windigo Lake, then to the North Caribou Lake First Nation at Weagamow Lake. The second road travels north from Red Lake. Both link several winter roads and ice roads that serve communities in extreme Northern Ontario with the provincial highway system. The first 60 kilometres (37 mi) of the Pickle Lake–Windigo Lake Road, as far as the Otoskwin River, also held the tertiary highway designation of Highway 808 within the provincial highway system from 1966 to 1983.

Maryland Route 808 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. Officially MD 808A and known as Main Street, the state highway runs 2.34 miles (3.77 km) from Ridgeville Boulevard north to MD 27 within Mount Airy. MD 808 follows the Carroll–Frederick county line for a portion of its length near its southern terminus. The county line portion is considered to be in Carroll County for maintenance purposes. MD 808 is the old alignment of MD 27 through Mount Airy. A portion of Main Street was paved by 1910; the sections south and north of the town center were constructed in the early 1910s and late 1910s, respectively. MD 808 was assigned to Main Street after MD 27's bypass of Mount Airy was completed in the mid-1970s.

State Road 421 is a 8.101-mile-long (13.037 km) state highway in the U.S. state of New Mexico maintained by the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT). The road, located in southeastern Union County, begins at NM 402 between Amistad and Clayton and passes eastward through the town of Sedan to the Texas state line where the roadway continues as Texas State Highway 102 (SH 102) to U.S. Route 87 (US 87) near Dalhart, Texas. Before 1988, the road was part of a much longer NM 102.
