BABY BRASA is an organic Peruvian group of restobars and catering service based in New York City, founded in 2016 by restaurateur, television personality and singer Franco Noriega. Baby Brasa is currently owned by Milan Kelez, who also serves as entertainment director and leads the front of the house at Baby Brasa. Milan Kelez is active on the New York social scene and is said to be capable of pulling in serious starpower. [1] [2] [3] The two-story flagship location in the West Village serves contemporary Peruvian cuisine, fusion dishes, and cocktails and as of 2017 also hosted weekly live music performances. [4] The company's first location opened as a small eatery in the Lower East Side, later expanding to the West Village. [5]
Magnolia Bakery is a chain of bakeries founded in New York City. The first location opened in 1996 at 401 Bleecker Street, on the corner of West 11th Street in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan. The bakery is known for its desserts, especially its cupcakes and banana pudding.
Brasserie Les Halles was a French-brasserie-style restaurant located on 15 John Street in Manhattan, New York City. Previous locations were on Park Avenue South in Manhattan, in Tokyo, Miami, and Washington, D.C. Author and television host Anthony Bourdain was the predecessor to the executive chef of Brasserie Les Halles, Carlos Llaguno. The restaurant went bankrupt in August 2017.
David Chang is an American restaurateur, author, podcaster, and television personality. He is the founder of the Momofuku restaurant group. In 2009, Momofuku Ko was awarded two Michelin stars, which the restaurant has retained each year since. In 2011, he co-founded the influential food magazine Lucky Peach, which lasted for 25 quarterly volumes into 2017. In 2018, Chang created, produced, and starred in a Netflix original series called Ugly Delicious, and through his Majordomo Media group, he has produced and/or starred in more television and podcasts. On November 29, 2020, he became the first celebrity to win the $1,000,000 top prize for his charity, Southern Smoke Foundation, and the fourteenth overall million dollar winner on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
Veselka is a Ukrainian restaurant at 144 Second Avenue in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. It was established in 1954 by Wolodymyr Darmochwal and his wife, Olha Darmochwal, post–World War II Ukrainian refugees. Veselka is one of the last of many Slavic restaurants that once proliferated in the neighborhood. A cookbook, published in October 2009 by St. Martin's Press, highlights more than 120 of the restaurant's Eastern European recipes.
James Daniel Bowien is a chef and restaurateur. He is the founder and owner of Mission Chinese Food in New York City and Brooklyn and co-founder of Mission Chinese Food in San Francisco, California. Bowien is a James Beard Award winner, and the main subject of season six of the food and travel show The Mind of a Chef.
The Spotted Pig was a gastropub located at 314 West 11th Street in the West Village in Manhattan in New York City. The 100-seat gastropub was owned by Ken Friedman. Mario Batali was a primary investor. The chef was April Bloomfield, a British expatriate celebrity chef who was hired after flying to New York and interviewing with Mario Batali and Friedman. The restaurant held a single Michelin Star from about 2006 to 2016. The restaurant closed on January 26, 2020.
J.G. Melon is an American restaurant established in 1972. It is located at 1291 Third Avenue on the northeast corner of East 74th Street, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. It is known for its hamburgers.
Mas (farmhouse) (pronounced as either "mah" or "mahs") was a New American and French restaurant located at 39 Downing Street (between Bedford Street and Varick Street) in the West Village in Manhattan, in New York City. It was established in 2004. Mas closed in 2018.

Ichiran Ramen is a Japanese ramen food-service business specializing in tonkotsu ramen. The chain restaurant began in Fukuoka in 1960 as a ramen stall named "Futaba Ramen" (屋台双葉ラーメン). It was later renamed "Ichiran" in 1966. After three decades of serving ramen from a single location, under the leadership of CEO Manabu Yoshitomi it opened its first concept store in 1993, which became the blueprint for all future Ichiran ramen shop locations.
Franco Noriega Haltenhof is a Peruvian entrepreneur based in New York who has branched out into the restaurant business, modelling, television, and the music industry. He is also a retired professional swimmer.
Marco Canora is an American chef, restaurateur and television personality. He has appeared on the Food Network on shows such as The Next Iron Chef, Chopped and Top Chef. Canora owns the Hearth Restaurant and Terroir wine bar in New York and is also the founder of Brodo, a marketer, producer and seller of bone broth.
Upland is a restaurant located in the Manhattan borough of New York City. It opened in 2014 and is owned by Philadelphia-based restaurateur Stephen Starr. The interiors were designed by Roman and Williams. The firm also designed the interiors of Starr restaurants Le Coucou and The Love. There is also an Upland location in Miami.
Greg Baxtrom is the chef-owner of restaurants Olmsted, Five Acres, Patti Ann’s and Petite Patate. Prior to opening Olmsted in 2016, Baxtrom worked at restaurants including Alinea, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Per Se and Lysverket in Norway.
Colors was a 70-seat restaurant in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City.
Frenchette is a restaurant in Tribeca, Manhattan, New York City, which opened in April 2018. It won the James Beard Foundation Award as Best New Restaurant in 2019. It is owned by chefs Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson and is named for David Johansen's 1978 song "Frenchette". The menu includes a mix of modern and traditional French with dishes like escargots, tortilla espanola and spaghetti with shaved bottarga.
Bâtard was a French restaurant in New York City. The restaurant opened in 2014, replacing French restaurant Corton. In May 2023, it was announced Bâtard would close on May 20, 2023.

The restaurant, operated by Roni Mazumdar and Chintan Pandya and their hospitality group Unapologetic Foods, replaced their first collaborative restaurant, Rahi. The restaurant received a Michelin Star in 2022 and has received positive reviews from restaurant critics.
