  1. Born in Japan to a Taiwanese father and an American mother, Hsiao graduated from Oberlin College and Columbia University and held U.S. citizenship until 2002.
  2. Born in the United States, Wu graduated from Wellesley College and the Courtauld Institute of Art before renouncing her citizenship in 2014.
