Luxembourg Open (badminton)

The Luxembourg Open is an annual badminton tournament held in Luxembourg. The tournament is part of the Badminton Europe tournament series and is leveled in BWF International Challenge. [1] The inaugural edition was held in 2022. [2]

Carolina María Marín Martín is a Spanish badminton player. She is an Olympic Champion, three-time World Champion, eight-time European Champion, and the former World's No. 1 in BWF rankings for the women's singles discipline, holding the World No. 1 title for 66 weeks. She has become the World Champion in the women's singles three times, thereby becoming the only women’s singles player and the only non-Asian player to win the title three times. Marín is the only player in history to win seven gold medals in a single category of a continental championship, having consecutively won the European Championships title since 2014. She also won the Olympics gold medal in women's singles at the 2016 Rio Olympics, thereby becoming the only non-Asian female player to win a gold medal at the Olympics.

The Finnish International is an international open badminton tournament held in Finland since 2014. Up to 2013, the Finnish Open has been named Finnish International. In 2014, the second international tournament in Finland launched as Finnish International, then the original tournament changed its title to Finnish Open.

Stefani Stoeva is a Bulgarian badminton player specializing in doubles. Her current partner is her older sister, Gabriela Stoeva. They competed at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. The duo together have won gold medals in the 2015 and 2023 European Games and also three successive European Championships in 2018, 2021 and 2022 editions. Stefani Stoeva has also won some individual titles in women's singles competition.

The Bangladesh International is an international badminton tournament held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and organized by the Bangladesh Badminton Federation. The tournament was established in June 2002 and was part of the Asian Satellite. In 2011, the tournament was graded as the BWF International Series with the total prize money equaling US$5,000, and later in 2013, it was upgraded to the International Challenge, providing a total prize money of US$15,000. Patra Harapan Rindorindo is an Indonesian badminton player. He was a silver medalist at the World Junior Championships boys' doubles event in Santander, Spain.
