PT Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) is an Indonesian free-to-air television broadcaster. It was launched on 24 August 1990 in Surabaya, East Java as Surabaya Centra Televisi, broadcasting to the city and its surrounding area. At first, the programming was similar to that of RCTI, broadcasting foreign shows and some of RCTI news programs until they could produce their own. On 30 January 1993, SCTV obtained a national license and eventually moved its operations to Jakarta marks the end of 3 years affiliations with RCTI from Jakarta, changing its name to Surya Citra Televisi. Its main offices are located in Central Jakarta, with studios in West Jakarta. It is owned by Surya Citra Media, a publicly listed subsidiary of the technology company Emtek.

Puteri Indonesia is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia. Puteri Indonesia is traditionally held in March, alongside the celebration of International Women's Day. The pageant annually sends its winner to represent the country at Miss International, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. The pageant also sends representatives for Miss Supranational, Miss Charm, and Miss Cosmo pageants.
The now-called Putri Bumi Indonesia is an annual national environmental-themed beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness in Indonesia. Because in 2022 El John Pageants lost the franchise of Miss Earth to PT Mahakarya Duta Pesona Indonesia, the winners of Putri Bumi Indonesia instead represents Indonesia in the Miss Eco International pageant until 2023 before Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia took the license. Starts from 2023, Putri Bumi Indonesia will represent Indonesia to Miss Environment International. The current Putri Bumi Indonesia titleholder is Nur Arfah Maryam Insani from South Sulawesi.

She is the first female minister appointed to the post. Police-General Badrodin Haiti was the Chief of the Indonesian National Police from 16 January 2015 until 13 July 2016, succeeding, Police-General Sutarman. On 16 January 2015 Badrodin was appointed by Indonesian President Joko Widodo to be the Acting Chief of Indonesian National Police replacing Sutarman, who officially retired from the service and awaiting for elected Police Chief Police-Commissioner General Budi Gunawan who was a suspect on a corruption case. On 16 April 2015, he was confirmed unanimously by Indonesian House of Representatives and sworn in by President Joko Widodo on 17 April 2015. He was replaced by Police-General Tito Karnavian.

It is the Indonesian franchise of Philippines' longest-running noon-time variety show, Eat Bulaga!. Its first episode premiered on July 16, 2012 and ended on April 3, 2014.

Frederika Alexis Cull, Puteri Indonesia 2019, crowned her successor, Raden Roro Ayu Maulida Putri of East Java at the end of the event. She represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2020, where she placed among the Top 20 finalists.

Tan Sri Budi GunawanPSM is an Indonesian high ranking police officer who is the Chief of the Indonesian State Intelligence Agency (BIN) since September 9, 2016, and is also the General Chairman of the Indonesian E-Sports Executive Board. He previously served as Deputy Chief of Indonesian National Police accompanying National Police Chief Badrodin Haiti and Tito Karnavian. He is the second member of the police after Sutanto to lead the State Intelligence Agency.

Thirty contestants, who qualified for the national stage via regional auditions, competed for the title. Of whom, a 26-year-old University of Indonesia-graduated model representing Bengkulu, Nadia Purwoko, was announced the winner, while Vivi Wijaya Huang of North Sumatra and Stephanie Cecillia Munthe of Jakarta were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.
