In 2021 he was awarded an NAACP Image Award for his book Vegetable Kingdom, which received a starred review from Publishers Weekly.

Living on the Veg is a British vegan cookery programme that first aired in 2020 on ITV. It is hosted by the cookery writers and bloggers Henry Firth and Ian Theasby, a duo known as BOSH!. Each episode features a series of recipes cooked by Firth and Theasby, and a guest who talks with the hosts about food and their work. It is produced by produced by Rock Oyster Media and distributed by Cineflix Rights. Living on the Veg is ITV's first vegan cooking programme.

ProVeg International is a non-governmental organisation that works in the field of food system change and has ten offices globally. The organisation's stated mission is to reduce the consumption of animal products by 50% by 2040, to be replaced by plant-based or cultured alternatives. Instead of increasing the share of vegetarians and vegans, ProVeg's focus is on reducing animal product consumption in the general population.

Chef Charity Morgan is an American plant-based chef, cookbook author, and television host. She is the wife of former NFL Linebacker Derrick Morgan, appeared with him in the 2018 plant-based diet documentary, The Game Changers, and is the host of Unbelievably Vegan with Chef Charity on Max.

You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment is a 2024 American documentary series set for streaming on Netflix. It is based on an 8-week study conducted by Stanford University that put 22 sets of genetically identical twins on opposing diets: omnivore and vegan. It was released on January 1, 2024.

Carleigh Bodrug is a Canadian vegan/plant-based author, known for her PlantYou cookbooks and advocacy of waste minimisation.
