Nick Music(formerly known as Nick Hits) is a Dutch pay television music channel for children in the Netherlands and Belgium. The channel is aimed at children from 5 to 15 years old and only plays music. [1] The channel launched as Nick Hits on 2 August 2007 and was rebranded by Nick Music on 1 February 2017. [2] It plays music from popular kid friendly groups both internationally like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Miranda Cosgrove, Christina Aguilera, Pixie Lott, Robbie Williams, Sugababes and the Jonas Brothers as well as local groups like ZirkusZirkus, Jan Smit, Nick & Simon, Ch!pz, KUS and Frisz. The channel is one of the four Nickelodeon-channels in the Netherlands & Belgium (one of the three specialty networks), the other channels are Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Nicktoons.

It was retired of Belgacom TV (the Belgium ISP) on 1 October 2013.

All of the channels changed their logos on 31 March 2010 to match the new style of Nickelodeon, the only notable difference in the style of this logo is the differently written i in the word Hits. [4] After the channel name change to Nick Music the logo also changed on 1 February 2017.

TMF Nederland Dutch music channel

TMF was a 24-hour music channel operated by Viacom International Media Networks in the Netherlands. The channel was previously in every standard TV package, but it is ceased operating on 1 September 2011. The channels operations were based in Amsterdam. The channel was previously known as TMF6 and TMF9 respectively.

Nicktoons is a British pay television channel launched on Monday 22 July 2002. It is a cartoon-based sister channel to Nickelodeon. The channel airs Nicktoons, as well as acquired programming from outside providers. Unlike the United States version, it has been ad-supported since launch.

TMF NL

TMF NL was a digital music television channel of MTV Networks Benelux that broadcast on all major digital platforms in the Netherlands and Belgium from 2005 to 2011. The station was presented along with three other digital channels of MTV Networks, namely TMF Pure, TMF Party and Nick Jr., and started on 1 May 2005. The channel only played videos by Dutch artists and was a spin-off of successful Dutch music channel TMF.

In addition to the general Nickelodeon programmes, local productions such as ZOOP, Het Huis Anubis, Het Huis Anubis en de Vijf van het Magische Zwaard and SuperNick are also broadcast. The Dutch Kids' Choice Awards were presented in 2004, 2005 and 2007, featuring nominees that are relevant to Dutch audiences. In 2010 the American Kids' Choice Awards aired, which included categories for the Netherlands and Flanders inserted into the broadcast.

Nickelodeon is a Flemish television channel timesharing with Spike between 5am to 9pm.

MTV is a Dutch free-to-air television channel broadcasting in the Netherlands. It launched as MTV NL on 12 September 2000. Before the start of country-specific channels, the Pan-European version of MTV aired in the Netherlands.

Kindernet was a Dutch-language television channel aimed at children and has been part of Nickelodeon's line-up of channels in the Netherlands and Flanders. Since its rebrand in 2011, the channel timeshared with Comedy Central, replacing TMF in its slot.

Nicktoons is a Dutch pay-TV channel broadcasting in the Netherlands and Flanders, which mostly airs cartoons. It launched together with Nick Music on 2 August 2007. During the day cartoons are dubbed in Dutch, whilst at night the cartoons are in English and subtitled in Dutch.

Nick Jr. is a Dutch pay television pre-schoolers channel and is part of the Dutch Nickelodeon network. After the transition of Kindernet to Nickelodeon in 2003, Nick Jr. became a program block on Nickelodeon in the morning. Nick Jr. was to launch as a separate channel on 1 January 2005, but due to some capacity problems, it eventually launched a few months later on 1 May.

Comedy Central is a Dutch free-to-air television channel based on the American channel of the same name. The channel is available on cable, digital terrestrial, IPTV, and satellite operators in the Netherlands. It broadcasts many imports as well as original programming. There is another, 24 hours a day broadcasting, Comedy Central channel available in the Netherlands, named Comedy Central Extra. This channel is only available as pay TV.
