MTV Dance is a European pay television music channel from ViacomCBS Networks EMEAA that was separated from the UK channel on 27 May 2014. It broadcasts electronic dance programming. The channel is widely available throughout Europe, except United Kingdom and Ireland.

History

On 1 October 2017, MTV Dance ceased broadcasting in Benelux. [1]

On 4 October 2018, the channel was removed on Numericable along with MTV Rocks following Comedy Central France launch.

In 2019, the channel disappeared in Portugal.

On 2 May 2020, it was removed of Sky Italia.

The channel will be renamed Club MTV from June 1, 2020. VIMN EMEA applied for a new licence for the channel on April 7th, 2020. [2]

VH1 (British and Irish TV channel) UK & Ireland version of the music television channel

VH1 was a British pay television channel from ViacomCBS. The channel broadcast to the United Kingdom and Ireland. The channel was based on the original VH1 American channel of the same name. On 24 November until 26 December 2017, VH1 was renamed temporarily as VH1 Christmas. The channel closed on Tuesday 7 January 2020.
