Gills Farm Archeological District is a historic district in Randolph, Massachusetts. The district, located in a riverine environment, encompasses a collection of prehistoric archaeological sites dating from the Middle Archaic to the Woodland period. Middle Archaic components include evidence of Neville and Stark projectile points. The quantities of Late Archaic materials found in the area suggest a period of intensive occupation and use. These sites were used as tool workshops, where stone from nearby quarry sites was processed into finished objects, typically bifacial tool blades.

Located on Canfield Island in the West Branch Susquehanna River, the site lies east of the city of Williamsport in Loyalsock Township. It is believed to have been inhabited by prehistoric Native Americans for thousands of years, with the oldest discoveries dating back to more than one millennium before Christ.

The Rockhouse Cliffs Rockshelters are a pair of rockshelters in the far southern region of the U.S. state of Indiana. Located amid broken terrain in the Hoosier National Forest, the shelters may have been inhabited for more than ten thousand years by peoples ranging from the Early Archaic period until the twentieth century. As a result of their extensive occupation and their remote location, they are important and well-preserved archaeological sites and have been named a historic site.

Laurel Run Rockshelter is a historic archaeological site located near Coe, Webster County, West Virginia. It is one of a number of prehistoric rock shelters on the Gauley Ranger District, Monongahela National Forest, that are known to have been utilized prehistorically from the Middle Archaic through the Late Woodland period, c. 6000 B.C.-1200 A.D. There are some indications that the Laurel Run rock shelter may have been utilized during the Early Archaic period, c. 8000-6000 B. C.
The Martin Site (44WY13) is a prehistoric Native American village site in Wythe County, Virginia, United States. It is located on the banks of the New River near the community of Fosters Falls. The site has clear evidence of occupation during the Late Woodland period, and offers evidence of older occupation. Finds at the site include pottery sherds, stone tools, ceramic and shell trade items, and grave sites.

A large rockshelter located near the Jackson River, it has been occupied by humans for thousands of years, and it has been named a historic site.
The Reedy Creek Site (44HA22) is a pre-Columbian archaeological site located in Halifax County, Virginia, near the town of South Boston. The site was first inhabited in the Late Archaic period from 2000 to 1000 B.C. Later, from 900 to 1400 A.D., a village was located at the site. Archaeological excavations at the site have revealed animal bones and seed and nut remnants, providing evidence as to the diet of the region's native inhabitants.
The LaGrange Rock Shelter is an archaeological site located on private property between Leighton and Muscle Shoals in Colbert County, Alabama, near the original campus of LaGrange College. The shelter measures 70 feet long by 15 feet deep and is located beneath a sandstone outcrop overlooking a dense series of Paleoindian sites in the valley below, which may have led to it being chosen for excavation.
