It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1976 and retained that rating until 1979. In 1985, it was again awarded a Michelin star and retained that rating until 1990. The restaurant was unexpectedly closed down on 31 January 2011, for no obvious reason.
Molen De Dikkert is a defunct restaurant located in a windmill in Amstelveen, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1983, and retained that rating until 1992.
Herberg Onder de Linden is a restaurant located in Aduard, in the Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that holds a Michelin star rating since 1992. GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 16.0 out of 20 points.

The choice of name was inspired by two things: the River Giessen, flowing past the restaurant, and the Gieser Wildeman, a type of culinary pear and one of the favourite dishes of the head chef.
Paul van Waarden is a defunct restaurant in Rijswijk, Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 2002 and retained that rating until 2012. The loss of the Michelin star for 2013 was a real shock for the restaurant and they requested a discussion with Michelin. The restaurant closed due to a bankruptcy.
Kasteel Heemstede is a restaurant in Houten, Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star for the periods 2003-2008 and 2011–present. The restaurant is located in the souterrain of the eponymous castle, although it was in fact an buitenplaats.
