The 6th edition of the Miss Grand International pageant was held at the One Entertainment Park in Yangon, Myanmar on October 25, 2018, [1] [2] in which candidates from 75 countries and territories participated. [3] These candidates were elected as the country representatives through different methods, such as through the Miss Grand National which was held to select the country representative for Miss Grand International specifically, [4] [5] [6] [7] or appointed by another national pageant organizer, in which the main winner was sent to compete on other international stages. [8] [9] [10] Some of them were assigned as representatives without competing at any national pageant in this particular year. [11] [12] [13]
As per data collected in the National preliminary contest section, 44 national pageant was held to elect the country representatives for Miss Grand International 2018. 19 of which was the Miss Grand National (A1), while 2 was other national contests that sent their main winners to Miss Grand International 2023 (A2), 14 national contest listed the Miss Grand title as one of the supplement awards (B1), while the remaining 13 contest later appointed its runner-up as Miss Grand National titleholder (B2). All the remaining candidates were either determined through the casting or appointed without participating in any respective national pageants (C1 and C2), such as the representative of Panama. [14]
This year, the Miss Grand National was also held in Azerbaijan, but the organizer, Elxan Pashayev, did not hold the license of Miss Grand International for Azerbaijan. [15]
Three candidates, who were elected as the country representatives through the national pageant, did not enter the international tournament for different reasons, and no replacements were assigned, including the representatives of Bahamas, Namibia, and Singapore. [16]
The representatives of Guatemala and Honduras were also appointed but did not compete for undisclosed reasons, while the representative of Lithuania, Jurate Stasiunaite, withdrew during the international pageant camp for personal reasons. [17]

The Miss Bolivia is a national beauty pageant in Bolivia. The pageant was founded in 1930, and the first winner, Rosa Pizarro Araoz of Tarija, was sent to compete in Miss Latin America held in Miami, United States.

Miss Grand International 2019 was the seventh edition of Miss Grand International pageant, was held on 25 October 2019, at Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela, where for the first time in the pageant history the host country delegate won the crown. The nineteen-year-old Valentina Figuera was the first Venezuelan representative to win the title since the establishment of the contest. As was normal for the event, she was crowned by her immediate predecessor, Clara Sosa of Paraguay.
Miss Grand International 2016 was the fourth Miss Grand International pageant, held at the Westgate International Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, on October 25, 2016 the first time the contest was held outside Thailand. Candidates from seventy-four countries and territories competed for the title. At the end of the event Claire Elizabeth Parker, Miss Grand International 2015 of Australia crowned Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia as her successor, making her the first Asian candidate to win the title. Meanwhile, the first to fourth vice-miss titles was awarded to the representatives of the Philippines, Thailand, Puerto Rico, and the United States, respectively.
Miss Grand Colombia is an annual female beauty pageant in Colombia, founded in 2018 by Top 3 Latam chaired by Neyder Duarte. Previously, the country representatives were selected by the International Portfolio Agency headed by Elías Tobón and Mara Borrego, either by handpicking or through their national pageant, Miss Earth Colombia. Currently, the franchise belongs to the Bogota-based modeling agency, Casa De Reinas SAS which owns and runs the Miss Grand Colombia beauty contest since 2022.
Miss Grand Ecuador is an Ecuadorian female national beauty pageant launched in 2021 by the Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador organization, directed by Tahiz Panus and Miguel Panus, with the aim of selecting a country representative to participate in its parent pageant, Miss Grand International. Previously, the competition franchise belonged to Maria del Carmen Aguayo, who usually chose the runners-up or national finalists from her national pageant, Miss Ecuador, to partake in such an international competition.

In 2018, the competition license was later transferred to the modeling agency managed by Aleks Tanushi, Aleks Fashion Events (A.F.E.), and its headquarters was also relocated to Tirana. The pageant winner represents the country at its international parent contest, Miss Grand International.
Miss Grand Kosovo is a national Beauty pageant in Kosovo founded by a Pristina-based event organizer chaired by Sherif Pacolli, Lens Production. The pageant winner represents the country at its international parent contest, Miss Grand International. From 2014 to 2018, the pageant was held in parallel with the Miss Grand Albania competition as Miss Grand Albania & Kosovo, but after Aleks Tanushi of Aleks Fashion Events (A.F.E.) took over the Albanian franchise in 2018, it was instead organized as a stand-alone pageant from 2019 to 2021.
Miss Grand Albania & Kosovo 2018 was the eighth edition of the Miss Grand Albania & Kosovo pageant, held at the California Resort located in the town of Lipljan, Pristina. Ten candidates from Albania and Kosovo competed for the title, and a 27-year-old singer based in Pristina, Dashuria Bilaj, was named Miss Grand Albania 2018, while an Albanian model based in Zürich, Bernadeta Nikolla, was elected Miss Grand Kosovo 2018, and obtained the rights to represent the countries at Miss Grand International 2018 held in Myanmar on October 25.

Contestants from seventy-seven countries and territories competed for the title, of whom María José Lora of Peru was announced the winner and was crowned by Miss Grand International 2016, Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia, while the representatives of the Czech Republic, Philippines, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela were named the runners-up.
Miss Grand International 2015 was the third edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, held on 25 October 2015 at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand. Candidates from seventy-seven countries and territories competed for the title, of whom a 20-year-old Dominican American from Rhode Island representing Dominican Republic, Anea Garcia, was announced the winner and received a cash prize of 40,000 USD as a reward. Meanwhile, the candidates from Miss Grand Australia, Miss Grand India, the Miss Grand Philippines, and Miss Grand Thailand were named the runners-up. However, due to the inability to fulfill the agreement, the original winner from the Dominican Republic was later replaced by the first vice-miss, Claire Parker of Australia, in early 2016.
