The Osaka International, formerly Osaka Satellite, is an international badminton tournament held in Osaka, Japan, established in 2007, and has been an International Challenge level tournament. [1]

The U.S. Open Badminton Championships is an annual badminton tournament first held in 1954 when the American Badminton Association opened the U.S. National Badminton Championships to foreign competition. During the 1950s and 1960s it often attracted the world's top players. The 2015 Yonex Suffolk County Community College US Open Championships, held in Brentwood, NY, attracted Malaysia's superstar Lee Chong Wei as well as 9 others in the top 30 MS competitors. The Japan Open is an annual badminton tournament held in Japan. It became part of the BWF Super Series tournaments in 2007. BWF categorised Japan Open as one of the five BWF World Tour Super 750 events in the BWF events structure since 2018.

The Arctic Open, is an international open badminton tournament held in Finland since 1990. It was halted in 1994, 1995, and between 1997 and 2001. In 2013, it was held for the fourth time in the Energia Areena in Vantaa. In 2014, the second international tournament in Finland launched as Finnish International, then this tournament changed its title to Finnish Open. From 2023 onwards, this will be a BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament, titled Arctic Open.

The Czech Open in badminton is an international open held in the Czech Republic since 1993. This tournament followed the Czechoslovakian Open and is often used by European, in particular Danish, new generation talents as jump board into the European point. In 2018, the Český Badmintonový Svaz held two level 4 tournaments, the International Series in Karviná, and the International Challenge in Brno, which held in March and September, respectively.

The Israel Open, formerly called Hatzor International, in badminton is an international open held in Israel since 1975. It was held annually from 1975 to 1982, but between 1983 and 2005 the competition was held only thrice. The competition was resumed in 2006 under a new name Hatzor International, after the club which host the event at Kibbutz Hatzor. Israeli National Badminton Championships started in 1977.

The New Zealand Open in badminton is an international tournament held in New Zealand. In 2011, the New Zealand International was originally scheduled to be a Grand Prix event, but was downgraded to International Challenge level due to lack of funding. The India Open is an annual badminton event which has been held in India since 2008 and is a BWF World Tour Super 750 international badminton tournament. Its first three editions were designated as Grand Prix Gold events. In 2011, it was upgraded to the BWF Superseries tournament. Since then until 2019, it was held annually at the Siri Fort Sports Complex, New Delhi. BWF categorised India Open as one of the seven BWF World Tour Super 500 events as per the event structure since 2018. The India Open has been upgraded to a BWF World Tour Super 750 event since 2023.

The Indonesia International is an international badminton tournament, which is held annually in Indonesia since 1997. It is organized by the Badminton Association of Indonesia. Since 2007, it is graded as the International Challenge, which are level 4 badminton tournaments. Since 2014, there are two different level 4 tournament: International Challenge and International Series which held in two different cities. Since 2022, there were two International Challenge tournament.

The Korea Masters is an international badminton tournament that usually held in November or December every year of BWF event calendar in South Korea. The total prize money in 2016 was US$120,000. Before 2010, the level of the tournament was an International Challenge, which is the fourth level tournament of international badminton tournament. It began in 2007, when it was held in Suwon, then it moved to Yeosu in 2008 and Hwasun in 2009. In 2010, it was turned into a BWF Grand Prix event.

The Iran Fajr International in badminton is an international open held in Tehran, Iran and a part of the Fajr decade festival. This tournament is one of the oldest tournament in the Western Asia which was formerly known as Ten Days of Dawn in commemoration of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, a ten-day celebration of Ruhollah Khomeini's return to Iran.

The Giraldilla International is an international badminton tournament, which is organized as an open championship of Cuba. The competition is held annually since 2000 and is now a young supraregional Badminton Championship. The organizer was the Cuban Badminton Association in cooperation with the Badminton Pan Am continental federation.

The Guatemala International is an open badminton tournament held in Guatemala. The tournament has been an International Series level in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2012, 2013, 2016, then in 2009 categorized as Future Series level, and in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015 categorized as International Challenge by the Badminton World Federation. The tournament is sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation, so the players can improved their point in world ranking.

The Vietnam International Challenge, formerly Vietnam Satellite and Hanoi International, is an international badminton tournament held in Vietnam. This tournament has been an International Challenge level since 2008. Another tournament named Vietnam International Series established in 2014, and Vietnam Open established in 1996.

The Maldives International is an open international badminton tournament in Maldives organized by the Badminton Association of Maldives and sanctioned by the Badminton Asia Confederation and Badminton World Federation. This tournament has been an International Challenge level before it went into hiatus in 2014. This tournament held at the Malé sports complex, and offered world ranking points with total prize money US$15,000.

The Malaysia International is an open international badminton tournament in Malaysia established since 1997. This tournament also known as Malaysia Satellite, Malaysia Asian Satellite, and Malaysia International Challenge. This tournament has classified as BWF International Challenge tournament since Badminton World Federation (BWF) introduced in 2007. Other tournaments held in Malaysia with higher level and prize money are named Malaysia Masters and Malaysia Open.

The Lagos International also known as Lagos International Badminton Classics is an annual open international badminton tournament held in Lagos, Nigeria. This tournament established since 2014, organized by the Lagos State Badminton Association (LSBA) and Badminton Federation of Nigeria. The tournament sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton Confederation of Africa (BCA), and has grade as BWF International Challenge level with the total prize money $15,000. The classics is expected to help Nigerian players to improve their world ranking as well as play against some of the top rated players in the world, and it is also an opportunity to showcase the positive side of Lagos and Nigeria. It is also an intervention programme of the Lagos State Government, it is a series of international open sporting events geared towards attracting the best continental and global sports talents to the shores of the region. The Lagos State Government believes that the tournament is part of series of international sports events that will bring world stars to the state.
