Most visitors to Cambodia must obtain a visa, either on arrival or online, unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.
All visitors must have a passport valid for at least 6 months and containing at least 1 empty page. All foreign citizens must hold a return or onward ticket.
Starting January 2025, all visitors to Cambodia are required to submit the Cambodia e-Arrival Card within seven days before their arrival. [1] [2]
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, holders of ordinary passports of the following countries (including all ASEAN member states) may enter Cambodia without a visa for stays up to the duration listed: [3] [4] [5]

In September 2024 Cambodia signed a visa exemption agreement for holders of diplomatic and official passports with Ukraine. It is yet to be ratified. [11]
Nationals of any country may obtain a visa on arrival for tourism (30 USD) or business purposes (35 USD), for a maximum stay of 30 days. Extensions are possible. [5]
Cambodia e-Visa or Electronic Visa has been introduced by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in April 2006 to promote the Cambodia tourism industry. [12]
Currently, nationals of any country may also apply for an e-Visa online for 30 USD prior to arriving in Cambodia.
The e-Visa allows for a single entry and a maximum stay of 30 days for tourism purposes. [5] [13]
Holders of e-Visa may enter via the following entry points:
Transit passengers who are leaving on the same arrival aircraft do not need a visa when transiting through Phnom Penh International Airport. [5]
Day trips (arriving and departing on the same day) are not permitted, except when arriving and departing via Phnom Penh International Airport. [5]
In addition, according to Timatic, nationals of Kosovo are refused entry and transit in Cambodia. [5]
During the COVID-19 pandemic, entry was not allowed for persons who had previously visited or who are originating from France, Germany, Italy, Spain or the United States. [14]

Visitors to Kyrgyzstan must obtain an e-Visa unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries or citizens who may obtain a visa on arrival.
Visitors to Kazakhstan must obtain a visa from one of the Kazakh diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries or citizens eligible for an e-Visa.
The Government of Namibia allows citizens of specific countries and territories to travel to Namibia for tourism, visiting friends and relatives as well as official purposes for 3 months with an ordinary, diplomatic and service passports without having to obtain a visa. All visitors must have a passport valid for at least 6 months.
Visitors to Mongolia must obtain a visa from one of the Mongolian diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries, or citizens who may obtain a visa on arrival, or citizens eligible for an e-Visa.
The visa policy of Malaysia consists of the requirements for foreign nationals to travel to, enter, and remain in Malaysia. Most visitors to Malaysia are granted visa-free entry for a period of 90, 30, or 14 days respectively. However, nationals from some countries must first obtain a visa from one of the Malaysian diplomatic missions around the world before being allowed into the country.
The visa policy of the United Arab Emirates allows citizens of certain countries to enter the United Arab Emirates without a visa. Citizens of certain other countries must obtain a visa from one of the UAE diplomatic missions. Alternatively, they may obtain an online visa through Smart Service or airlines.
Visitors to Azerbaijan must obtain a visa from one of the Azerbaijani diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries, or citizens eligible for an electronic visa on arrival, or citizens eligible for an electronic visa.
Visitors to Vietnam must obtain either an e-Visa or a visa in advance, unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.
Most visitors to Iran must obtain an electronic visa (e-Visa) prior to their arrival in Iran, unless they are a citizen of one of the visa-exempt countries or countries that are ineligible for an e-Visa, in which case they must obtain a visa in advance from one of the Iranian diplomatic missions around the world.
Visitors to Tajikistan must obtain a visa unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries, or citizens who may obtain a visa on arrival, or citizens eligible for an e-Visa.
The visa policy of Nepal allows citizens of most countries to obtain either an Online tourist visa or a visa on arrival while citizens of India are allowed freedom of movement. However, citizens of certain other countries must obtain a visa from one of the Nepalese diplomatic missions.
Visitors to Belize require a visa unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.
All visitors are required to have sufficient funds, 75 USD per day and documents required for their next destination.
Visitors to Qatar must obtain a visa, unless if they are citizens of one of the GCC countries or if they are citizens of one of the countries eligible for a visa waiver on arrival.
Visitors to Oman must obtain a visa prior to travel unless they come from one of the visa-exempt countries.
All foreign nationals visiting Seychelles are granted visa free access. However, they are required to obtain a Visitor's Permit on arrival unless exempt.
Visitors to Burkina Faso must obtain a visa from one of the Burkina Faso diplomatic missions or online, unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or a country whose citizens may obtain a visa on arrival.
Any foreign national who wishes to enter Myanmar must obtain a visa unless they are a citizen of one of the designated visa-exempt countries.
Visitors to Libya must obtain a visa from one of the Libyan diplomatic missions or online unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.
Visitors to Ghana must obtain a visa from one of the Ghanaian diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the countries or territories that are either visa exempt or whose citizens may obtain a visa on arrival.
Visitors to Egypt must obtain a visa from one of the Egyptian diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or countries that are eligible for visa on arrival.
