Visitors to the Dominican Republic must obtain a visa from one of the Dominican Republic diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.
Holders of passports of the following countries and territories may enter the Dominican Republic without a visa for up to 30 days (unless otherwise noted). Extension of stay is possible for up to 120 days for a fee. [1] [2]

A visa is not required for citizens of any country who were born in the Dominican Republic according to their travel document.
Holders of a valid visa or residence card of any member state of the Schengen Area, Canada, Cyprus, Ireland, the United Kingdom or the United States may enter the Dominican Republic without a visa. [2]
Holders of diplomatic, official or service passports of Argentina, Belize, Brazil (60 days), Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador (90 days), El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Morocco (60 days), Nicaragua, India (30 days), Panama, Paraguay, Peru (60 days), Russia, Serbia (60 days), Singapore (90 days), South Korea, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago, Ukraine, Uruguay and Vietnam may enter the Dominican Republic without a visa for up to 30 days (unless otherwise noted).

Visitors are required to pay a tourist fee of 10 USD, except: [15]
This fee was previously charged in the form of a tourist card on arrival, but as of 25 April 2018, the card is no longer required of those arriving by air. Instead, the fee is charged with the airfare for all tickets issued outside the Dominican Republic.
Visitors who were automatically charged the fee with the airfare but satisfy one of the exemptions may request a refund of this fee online, to be issued within 15 days on a credit card, check or local bank account. [15] [16]
Visitors who enter the Dominican Republic by land or sea (and are not exempt) are still required to purchase a tourist card on arrival, which costs 10 USD or 10 EUR. [17]
Passengers and airline crew arriving from Equatorial Guinea are not allowed to enter. [2]
Passengers and airline crew who have been in or transited through Equatorial Guinea on or after 8 February 2023 are not allowed to enter. [2]

The visa policy of mainland China deals with the requirements which a foreign citizen wishing to enter the mainland of the People's Republic of China must meet to obtain a visa from one of the Chinese diplomatic missions, which is a permit to travel to, enter, and remain in the country. Visa exemptions are based on bilateral agreements and unilateral decisions.
A Mexican visa is a document issued by the National Institute of Migration, dependent on the Secretariat of the Interior, with the stated goal of regulating and facilitating migratory flows into the country.
Visitors to Israel must obtain a visa from one of the Israeli diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa-exempt countries. From January 2025, all visitors from visa-exempt countries must obtain an electronic travel authorization (ETA-IL) before traveling to Israel.

The visa policy of Costa Rica requires that any foreign national wishing to enter Costa Rica must obtain a visa from one of the Costa Rican diplomatic missions, unless they hold a passport issued by one of the 95 eligible visa exempt countries or if the fulfill the requirements for a substitute visa. Costa Rican visas are documents issued by the Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería, which is part of the Ministry of Interior and Police, with the stated goal of regulating and facilitating migratory flows.
Visitors to Peru must obtain a visa from one of the Peruvian diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries.
Visitors to Colombia must obtain a visa from one of the Colombian diplomatic missions or online unless they come from one of the visa-exempt countries.
The visa policy of Malaysia consists of the requirements for foreign nationals to travel to, enter, and remain in Malaysia. Most visitors to Malaysia are granted visa-free entry for a period of 90, 30, or 14 days respectively. However, nationals from some countries must first obtain a visa from one of the Malaysian diplomatic missions around the world before being allowed into the country.
Citizens of specific countries and territories are eligible to visit Bolivia for tourism or business purposes without having to obtain a visa.
The Republic of Rwanda, a member of the East African Community, allows citizens of all countries that are not visa-exempt to obtain a visa on arrival. In addition, they may also obtain an e-Visa online before departure.
Visitors to Chile must obtain a visa from one of the Chilean diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.
Visitors to Uruguay must obtain a visa from one of the Uruguayan diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.
A foreign national wishing to enter Lesotho must obtain a visa unless they are a citizen of one of the eligible visa exempt countries.
Visitors to East Timor must obtain a visa, unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.
Mozambique allows most countries that are not visa exempt to obtain a visa on arrival. However, nationals of certain countries must obtain a visa online or from one of the Mozambican diplomatic missions around the world before being allowed into the country.
Visitors to Jamaica must obtain a visa from one of the Jamaican diplomatic missions or in certain cases from one of the United Kingdom diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries or citizens who may obtain a visa on arrival.
Visitors to El Salvador must obtain a visa from one of the Salvadoran diplomatic missions, unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months.
