Visitors to Mongolia must obtain a visa from one of the Mongolian diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries, or citizens who may obtain a visa on arrival, or citizens eligible for an e-Visa.
All visitors must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
Visitors from any country planning to stay in Mongolia for more than 30 days must register with the Mongolia Immigration Agency in Ulaanbaatar within the first seven days of arrival.
Visitors who fail to register and who stay longer than 30 days, even for reasons beyond their control, will be stopped at departure, temporarily denied exit, and fined. Until 1997, individual tourists wishing to visit Mongolia needed a letter of invitation from either a Mongolian citizen or a foreign resident before being granted a visa.
Since then the visa regime has been greatly liberalised with a resultant increase in tourism. [1]

Holders of diplomatic or official / service passports of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Brunei, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, South Korea, Switzerland, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam and holders of diplomatic passports of Czech Republic, Estonia (biometric passports only), France, Italy and United Kingdom do not require a visa.
Citizens of China holding a passport for public affairs do not require a visa for a maximum stay of 30 days.
The holders of United Nations Laissez-Passer (UNLP) and the officials of the UN Specialized Agencies travelling to Mongolia for the purposes of business and residency are exempt from visa requirements for 30 days.

Citizens of India, Kuwait and Qatar traveling as tourists may obtain a visa on arrival at Chinggis Khaan International Airport for a maximum stay of 30 days. They must have a completed visa application form, a passport photo (3.5 x 4.5 cm), a hotel / accommodation confirmation and a return / onward ticket. [23]

Holders of confirmation of a pre-arranged visa may obtain a single entry visa on arrival at Chinggis Khaan International Airport, provided they are in possession of a completed visa application form and a passport photo, are arriving from a country without diplomatic representation of Mongolia, and have a sponsor in Mongolia who submits request to the Mongolian Immigration Authority. Visa requirements for Bosnia and Herzegovina citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Tourism in Mongolia was extremely limited by the Socialist Government, but has been expanding following the 1990 Democratic Revolution in Mongolia in the wake of the collapse of the USSR and the Revolutions of 1989. Mongolia is a unique and relatively unexplored travel destination that offers a great combination of scenic natural features, a wide variety of untouched landscapes, nomadic life style and culture. Travel organizations in Mongolia date back to half a century ago, but the private sector-based tourism is barely twenty years old. Now Mongolia boasts 403 travel companies, 320 hotels, 647 resorts and tourist camps, all employing the graduates from over 56 educational establishments. Mongolia takes an active part in United Nations World Tourism Organization, of which it is a member party.
The visa policy of the Philippines is governed by Commonwealth Act No. 613, also known as the Philippine Immigration Act, and by subsequent legislation amending it.
The Act is jointly enforced by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Bureau of Immigration (BI). Visitors from 157 countries are permitted visa-free entry for periods ranging from 14 to 59 days.

Pakistan also offers electronic visa application and electronic travel authorization for issuance of visa on arrival.
The visa policy of Nepal allows citizens of most countries to obtain either an Online tourist visa or an visa on arrival while citizens of India are allowed freedom of movement.
However, citizens of certain other countries must obtain a visa from one of the Nepalese diplomatic missions.
Visitors to Laos must obtain a visa from one of the Laotian diplomatic missions unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries or citizens eligible for a visa on arrival or an e-Visa. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months.
Any foreign national who wishes to enter Myanmar must obtain a visa unless they are a citizen of one of the designated visa-exempt countries.
Visitors to Ghana must obtain a visa from one of the Ghanaian diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the countries or territories that are either visa exempt or whose citizens may obtain a visa on arrival.
