Nimadi is a Western Indo-Aryan language spoken in the Nimar region of west-central India within the state of Madhya Pradesh. This region lies adjacent to Maharashtra and south of Malwa. The districts where Nimadi is spoken are: Barwani, Khandwa, Barwaha, Khargone, Burhanpur, Sanawad and southern most parts of Dhar, Harda and Dewas districts. This language is classified as a dialect of Rajasthani language. The famous writers of Nimari were Gaurishankar Sharma, Ramnarayan Upadhyay, Surendra Khede, etc. [2]

Nimari is mainly spoken in Khargone, Barwani and Khandwa districts. Ramnarayan Upadhyay, Mahadeo Prasad Chaturvedi, Prabhakar Ji Dubey, Jeevan Joshi, and others worked in it. "Ammar Bol " (Translation of Bhagwat Geeta) composed by Mahadeo Prasad Chaturvedi "Madhya" is the first epic in Nimari. Prabhakar Ji Dubey was also awarded by the president of India. He lived in a town named Barwaha which is situated near Maheshwar and Omkasreshwar(One of the jyotirlinga). He played many stage dramas. He was a disciple of Rama Dada and often used to visit Khandwa. He is still famous for songs like "Gammat, Swang". He also worked as a professional teacher. His one of the book named "Thumka" was also awarded by Academy of Isuri. He died on 13 March 1997.

Naramdiya Brahmins, also transliterated as Naramdev, are descendants of the priests of the Somnath temple who were forced to migrate from Gujarat to Madhya Pradesh are settled along the bank of the Narmada River. Their migration owes to the forays and desecration of the Somnath temple by Mahmud Ghazni.

Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA) concerns Narmada River, the river of Madhya Pradesh. With 87% of its catchment area lying in Madhya Pradesh, it becomes all the more important for the state to exploit this enormous water resource. It was with this motto in mind that the Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA) was formed by the government of MP on 9 August 1985. Nimari (Hindi:निमारि) is a breed of cattle native to the Nimar region of India. It originated out of Gyr (cattle) and Khillari cattle breeds, and is found in the regions of Narmada valley in the state of Madhya Pradesh and Jalgaon district in Maharashtra.

The Chhota Udaipur–Dhar line is a railway line under construction from Chhota Udaipur railway station to Dhar railway station. It is a part of Western Railway zone of Indian Railways.

Barwaha railway station is a main railway station in Khargone district, Madhya Pradesh. Its code is BWW. Barwaha railway station was an important station during meter gauge and all trains took halt here because of Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, CISF, and many industrial factories. The station consists of three platforms. The platforms are not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation. The station is situated on the 1,000 mmmetre gauge Akola–Ratlam rail line, which is undergoing gauge conversion. Once finished, it will provide vital connectivity between Indore with Southern Indian states.
